I appreciated the cleanliness. The staff was great. The inside was hot and humid. Perhaps that was from the indoor pool. It was difficult to get the room to cool down.

Was nervous after booking and seeing the bad reviews. Couldn’t cancel because it was non refundable. Well I’m glad I didn’t because I was pleasantly surprised. Front desk lady was super nice and professional. Room was clean and beds were comfy. But outdated for sure. Nothing fancy. Air conditioning worked great. It was a quick overnight stay on our long trip home. Perfect for what we needed. Close to 95. Would I want to stay multiple nights? No but for what I needed it for. Perfect

Overall not a bad place to stay

I have stayed in worse hotels for certain but there were definitely oversights in maintenance and up keep. I want to stress the staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Clean room, soft mattresses and pillows on the double beds. The pull out couch was not good for sleeping on. There was no sheets as we were advised so we had to ask for one. Also the blanket for the pull out was stiff as a board, and when we asked the front desk staff for a new one, they made us go back to our room and get the blanket to show them. The free breakfast was actually really good and hot. All food items were fully stocked or restocked while we were there. Kudos for that!!

Also Saturday breakfast scheduled 7-10 am. At 9am, no hot food available; eggs, biscuits, sausages. No attendant available and several guests seeking food. After notifying front desk, attendant reluctantly came out 15 minutes later and brought me 2 eggs and 2 biscuits. No other food was brought out. During mealtime attendant handled food with bare hands, no gloves and appeared annoyed. She never positively interacted with guests or even acknowledged them nor asked if they needed anything. The carpet in hallways and rooms was stained. Do Not stay here!

The guy at the front desk let me go through the check in process and it wasn't until after he had processed my credit card that he informed me that the air conditioning wasn't working. I requested a refund and never got the full refund back. What a scam.... pathetic.

Definitely have to try the swimming pool which is heated

The only negative was the constant motor running in the room I had. Possibly A/c but it was non stop the entire 3 days. But manageable. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The breakfast attendant was very good on Friday morning! I asked her a question about breakfast and she gave me a rude comment! And besides that when we checked in Thursday evening the lady at the desk didn't tell us about having ac problems I room stayed 78 the whole time ! So I went down the guy had worked 11-7 he was like she didn't tell you about the ac and we said no so we asked if we could get 2 fans he said we will have to wait intill the other people check out to get fans ! So I am just disappointed with my whole stay my room was 218 on the 2nd floor our room was poorly cleaned i found safely glasses in the suite and I found pills behind the dresser i do have a 7 year old boy and I would freak out so I clean the room my self and I just know I wouldn't stay back at this hotel because for one house keeping manager should check the rooms really good if my son would've found those pills I would've freak out so me being a mom i just don't think this properly was my cup of tea I feel bad about writing this but what if it was you and you found pills or your kid and they take them thinking it was candy ! I have never been to Fredericksburg but this will be my last day at this hotel it needs better maintenance, better manager and most of all the maintenance man came up there and he said it was fine but it wasn't it was still 78 in there I just wish I can at least get some money back because the staff was very poorly and breakfast was a 0 because of the way she acted !!!!!!

The staff was very nice. The rooms were spacious. The pool was very clean and the breakfast was right on time.

The staff were amazing. The room was clean. The cloth couch and chair need to be replaced immediately. The bed were like laying on a brick. The hotel was a bit dated.

Where I always stay!! Staff is always nice and property is clean!

When I tried to check in, they told me there was no air conditioning and a try least cancelled my stay without a charge.

Reserved king bed but was giving 2 queens, very outdated property especially the room, a/c out in a lot of areas so main lobby was hot, and mildew around bath tub.

handicap accessible bath tub was very slippery. Room keys had to be reprogrammed every day. maybe a variety of breakfast meats instead of sausage every day.

Breakfast was good. Room was good size
