Super 8 by Wyndham Fredericksburg

Excellent stay for the $49. The countertops and fixtures were brand new. The bed was very comfortable. The only negative was the room door not creating a complete seal to the outside. Locks were fine, but had to place towels in the door jambs to create a complete seal.

They couldn’t accommodate what we needed for our stay!! But still let us book our rooms there!!

Good location on route 17. Easy access to route 95. Plenty of places to eat at. Walmart a 6 min drive away, and Target a 2 min drive. Perhaps 10 min drive to downtown (old town) Fredericksburg. Actually provide a breakfast. There was some juice and granola bars...

I booked a non smoking room. As soon as I opened the door, it reeked of smoke. Floors were filthy. Bugs in the bathroom. I went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies and bug spray and cleaned the room. Used an entire can of Lysol. There was pee on the bathroom walls. Poop on the toilet seat. Pubic hair in the tub. The corners of the furniture were shredded like a cat clawed them. There was a huge gap at the bottom of the door which was a big safety concern. No ice tub. Went to grab breakfast and it was literally a granola bar. No tea. There were people peeing the middle of the parking lot. Someone smoking weed on the balcony at 7:00 am. It was very unsafe. As a solo woman traveler, I ran to my room every night. There were vans of men sitting in the parking lot drinking and yelling. This place is gross and I expected better. I have traveled all across the US and stayed at Super 8’s a lot. This one is the absolute worst. Pass on this one folks. I chose it because of location as I was working very close. Super 8 do better! Keep your guests safe!! I would greatly appreciate a refund as I did your staff’s job and was very uncomfortable and felt unsafe the entire 5 days I was there. Oh! There a sticky glue mouse trap in the bathroom!

Everything was nice

That family with two small children were running around and banging on the floors all day long for 2 straight days. Staff could do nothing about it.

the room right above me had little kids running around and stomping on the floor for straight days.All day long. The staff told me they could do nothing about it. This was my worst experience at a motel ever. It is now eleven forty four p m.And I can still hear them upstairs. This has been a nightmare

the location was wonderful! no breakfast! you get granola bars, and coffee.. don't advertise breakfast if you aren't really serving it? also, during my stay we noticed a pest problem. i would highly suggest a pest control visit.

This property makes the top 5 WORST Hotels.com stays I've had in 20 years. It was truly a dirty, filthy Sh*t-hole. Just a few of the amenities .... I smelled rotten trash, pot smoke and a natural gas leak. The owner operator should be ashamed

Not much but it was convenient from highway We got there at 1:50 and the desk attendant told me it would be an extra 30 bucks to check in 10 minutes early. I said I’ll be back at 2:00 then. I come back at 2:01 and all of a sudden they can’t find my reservation. I have to find my reservation number on my phone so she can check the number. I said I was just here trying to check in 10 minutes ago and now you can’t find my reservation seriously. I said you already charged me according to my bank. She gives me the key and we head upstairs. We get up to the room and there is a guy sleeping in the hallway. Now there are cameras all around and nobody kicked him out?? They should charge him the 30 bucks for loitering in the hallway.

The other thing was the bathroom exhaust fan. If turned on more than 30 seconds it had a high pitched metal on metal sound. I appreciate that they are doing improvements but don't rent the rooms that will be around the noise or warm the guests.

Good area nice room Nothing everything was good

When I got to the front desk, she had a customer having problems checking in. She asked me to wait and would be with me as soon as she could. Within minutes, she saw it was going to take longer so she jumped over and checked me in. Very polite to me and the customer having a situation. She also answered all my questions. Look forward to my return when I'm back in this area.
