Grounds need upkeep. Two separate buildings: one for registration, other for rooms. Three floors for rooms, no elevator. Hot July weather during our stay, needed ice. Bucket in hand and three flights of stairs, I found one ice machine for the entire building. No ice. Empty bucket in hand, down the slope to the front office, machine needs repair, call has been placed. Return trek, tap water. Poor.

    No elevator.

Good location with a pool. If you book riverside, know that it’s a different location than the pool. Staff were ok. Both ice machines were down, with no solution, in the middle of summer. Overall-pool was nice, buildings were up to date, but the service wasn’t impressive.

A good, affordable 3-star hotel for a convenient overnight stay before departing Portland the next day. No breakfast offered. The Freeport Cafe is right next door and offers a great, affordable breakfast!

We weren’t expecting to have to drive to a whole different location that’s not close to the pool or any other amenities. The ice machine wasn’t working and overall it was fine but not what we are used to with a best western hotel.

The room was fine, but we hadn’t expected to have to walk up stairs to get to our room in a three floor facility. Although it was only a half flight, it was inconvenient. Also, breakfast was not included in the price. There was a good breakfast available near by.

    Location Needs TLC

Staff was friendly at check in Did not like that i was staying alone and that i had to be in a building way out back. entryway and hallway was extremely hot with a loud beeping noise going off. people in and out of rooms and hanging out in the hallways playing loud music. did not feel safe at all. Turned the water on in the shower and the water was brown

The bed was really comfortable. Shower water pressure was like a dribble. The bathroom sink didn’t drain.

We liked the location if the hotel, the staff was friendly and the room looked nice. The bed was not that comfortable, the room we stayed in seemed like it was always "damp" i think it needed a better AC system or a dehumidifier.

Low price and room was good suze The reception area is a half mile drive away and thete is no one on premises. the key card to the entrance didnt work. When i returned from dinner the key card to the room didnt work and neither did the electronic override. After a half hour in the hallway someone came and managed the override. The shower had no hot water and was very slippery despite small grab bar

Location next to Freeport cafe My room smelled of cigarettes. I don’t smoke and didn’t like the odor. It was too late in the evening to ask for a room change since the main desk meant getting back in the car and driving quarter mile away I kept spraying a room the my spray after bath. I told the staff my problem when I checked out.

Clean, quiet (thick windows) motel style hotel. No elevators, Great location.

The split level parking with drive up accessibility was innovative use of the site! To drive up the hill and around the building to access 2nd level rooms (all interior hallway access) was neat. Loved the functioning but safety protected sliding glass balcony door/window and letting fresh air in the room. Still equipped with blackout curtains for guests that need that feature. The separate cottage guest check-in and information station was quaint and well appointed. Don’t miss a walk to breakfast at the independent little restaurant down the hill!

Location Pet friendly room we got was also smoking rooms. Room smelled gross, like cleaning product trying to cover up the smoke smell.

I never leave bad reviews and am easy to please but this was my worst experience. Upon check in, I was offput by the lack of cars in the parking lot. Then we were directed to a different lot after checking in at the lobby. We drove to the other building, still not a single car in the parking lot. We get in our room and it’s nice enough. We walked outside to look around and our key stopped working (which you need to get into the building) I called the front desk and an answering service picked up after many rings- saying he’d figure it out. After 10 minutes of waiting, I called again and the man at the front desk answered, saying he hadn’t heard anything about us being locked out and couldn’t bring us a new key but would figure it out. Thankfully, shortly after, maintenance came and let us into our room. After getting settled, I noticed mold on the bathroom ceiling and all over the curtains. In the morning, I tried using the kurieg to make coffee and noticed it was crusty and brown inside. I called the front desk, asking if they had coffee in the lobby- to which I was told they couldn’t make coffee because of the pipes. I asked for a new coffee maker to our room and waited 35 minutes before calling and saying nevermind. Overall, super stressful experience- there should not be a building down the road from the lobby- it should be easily accessible from any hotel. That alone would have made my experience a lot better.

Missed breakfast but I am sure it was delicious. Room was very clean and welcoming.

Property was a split property which wasn't ideal but front desk attendant was awesome.

Loved the daily maid service, and the wonderful Cafe next door. Trying to get out of property Southbound with the road construction, but I think they’re about finished.
