I paid in full for two nights approximately two weeks before my trip. I was in Fresno for business and a solo traveler. This hotel was close to where my meetings were. When I arrived, there were 3 police cars and people were milling around shouting. I wasn't sure what had happened but decided to still go and check in - crime can happen anywhere and I decided to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt. I went into the lobby. The doors were locked - instead there was a small window where you could be assisted from inside the vestibule. A staff member was standing at the counter and on her phone. There was no one else at the counter or in the vestibule. She looked at me and went back to her phone. So I politely knocked on the window. She came over and said 'we don't have any vacancy'. I replied, 'Oh I have a reservation paid for.' To which she said, 'consider it canceled. We don't have any vacancies, call whoever you booked through,' and she walked away. No explanation, nothing. It was almost midnight, and I had a meeting the next morning. But off I went to try and get a room somewhere else. As I was leaving, two kids, about 13-15, were walking back from where they'd been standing in the parking lot - they shouted up to someone on the top balcony 'cops are gone.' There was also garbage everywhere. Food containers on the walkways, empty and broken beer bottles, you literally had to step around garbage and glass on the walkway to get anywhere. Do not stay here.

I felt so uncomfortable and decided to not stay there. As I was driving the people hanging around the parking lot were starting at me and there were others sleeping in the sidewalks.

Took my reservation for June 3, 2026 to arrive at 2:00 pm, did not arrive until 9:00 pm, once there did not have room ready. Waited an hour, finally a room, with no television no lock on the door mold in the shower, and the staff talked to me like I did something wrong. Take them off your list they are running a hot sheet inn, turning over room every few hours

It was a nightmare. No tv. No towels. Shower don’t work. Disgusting.

Everything was terrible we got there at 11pm and the parking lot had people living out of their cars drinking and the surrounding areas full of trash. When we went to check in there was no one at the check in window we waited and rang the doorbell it says to ring and no one ever came so we went back to the car to wait. On our way back to the car we noticed a young man that appeared to be tweaking looking in our car. We waited a bit and went back inside to cancel our reservation because it didn’t feel safe to stay there for us of for the sake of my car. Again no one ever came to the window to talk to us so we left ans called Expedia. Expedia tried to get in contact with them too multiple time that day and the following days ans they never answered so I was unable to ever get a refund. Everything about this place is awful the location, the people, the workers, the facility itself, the parking lot. It all bad there is not a single good thing about this place.

Dear Expedia Customer Service, I am writing with absolute urgency about the hotel stay you arranged. This was a life-threatening disaster. The room was infested with cockroaches, surrounded by gang members, and minors repeatedly entered. I was in my car most of the time, because staying inside was unthinkable. At 9 p.m., a gang member demanded my hotel key while I was in the car. I handed it over, knowing it was safer to comply than risk my health or worse. Blood-stained sheets, graffiti, a leaking sink—this was a total breakdown of safety and dignity. I demand a full refund, plus compensation for the trauma. Most crucially, this hotel must be removed from Expedia—no one should ever be exposed to this risk. This betrayal of trust demands swift, decisive action. I will not be ignored. Scorched Regards, Brandon Campbell
