Twi-Lite Inn

We were in town for a wedding for a couple of nights & just wanted a place to sleep that wasn't crazy expensive....The room was clean, but small and outdated. The stay was overall quiet. The room had a fridge and cold AC which was appreciated. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and well kept. The shower in the room was a little gross and the shower head was terrible. My main issue was at check-in... We booked a king room, but when we showed up to check in, they told us there was no king room available and they tried to put us in a 2 double bed room. We did not want this type of room. Then we were told they did have a king room, but it wasn't where they usually put tourists...anyways, we looked at both rooms and went with the king room-we were given a small discount on the price as well. I'm not sure why our original room was given away in the first place though. Anyways, it wasn't the worst place we've stayed, especially for the low price, but you get what you pay for. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

If you don’t buy into that big hotel minimalist esthetic, then Twi-Light Motel is for you. Clean, newly renovated, friendly staff, we slept so well and walked to Melting Pot Pizza and Knotty Pine Diner for breakfast. Their flowers and garden are beautiful.

It was ok / the shower was good and the fridge worked

Great location. Easy hotel for a 1 night stay. Place was clean and the shower pressure was awesome!

Old facilities, but well kept. Comfy beds, comfy pillows, water pressure was good. We didn't use any other amenities. The owner was great.

Breakfast not offered. Tub foist had a constant drip. Staff was indifferent.

Clean, quiet, good location.

We stayed for two nights over Memorial Day weekend and were very pleased. We highly recommend this motel to everyone. The room is small but very clean. The bathroom was spotless and featured a great shower. The room had very comfortable beds and pillows. It also comes equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a TV with a good selection of channels. The staff and service were delightful. The location is convenient—right near the entrance to Skyline Drive. It is also close to the Beer Museum, which we highly recommend to all beer lovers.

Okay for an old hotel. Only stayed one night so it's hard to say anything else.

Good value. Complex located on a very busy street with heavy traffic. One small window with poor natural light. Tight parking and internal traffic lane. Dripping bathtub faucet. Not for long vehicles or trailers!

The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed being able to pull up to the room and unload with no steps or elevator to get on.

The price

Clean room but very out dated. Small bathroom with bad layout made using the toilet uncomfortable. Great location, great price - would stay again if only for one night, anything longer the bathroom would be a deal breaker for me.

It needs some love and pride.

Honestly everything was very well kept. Room was pretty clean only two small hairs we found on a pillow. Fridge worked great and the air conditioning/ heater was also great. Short drive to the Shenandoah entrance

Staff were nice, room was clean, and checkout was a breeze. They made it simple by telling us to just leave the room key on the dresser. There was no need to turn it into the office.
