Sleep Inn & Suites University/Shands

Price was great as was the location (close to shopping and university). Things are a little dated but clean and lot’s of hot water for showers. Free warm breakfast was a nice bonus as well.

The king size bed was comfortable. The check in process was great no issues. The breakfast was very delicious.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent for what we needed. Parking was simple and convenient. Front desk was polite and helpful. One bed in the room was comfortable, and one was not. Mattresses seemed worn out. Breakfast was sufficient. Breakfast attendant had an attitude and was unaccommodating. All in all, a good experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Lady at the check in was super friendly. Room was very dated and smelled of must. Damp rid is placed throughout the hotel in small containers.Never saw any one cleaning i would give it a 6 out of 10 for cleanliness. Price was ok but not anything special given the hotel is in need of sprucing up.We had the free breakfast the 2nd day it opens at 6:30. It's a small layout but actually good for the most part.

The staff was great. They keep the property very well maintained. The room had everything I needed for a 3 days stay. The microwave and mini fridge worked perfectly which was great since I needed to prepare lunch for my daughter’s UF camp. The continental breakfast had pretty much everything and the lady in charge was constantly replenishing and cleaning. Definitely worth it.

Clean, Quiet, excellent value.

I the hotel was nice and clean. I stay for three days and no one came to my room to clean it at all.

Overall, I think the hotel is nice. The staff was nice and I didn’t get any weird smells or anything. I think the beds need to be updated because I can feel the springs when I sleep so it makes it for a harder day or even harder to sleep in besides that and no one coming to our room to make our bed. Everything was great.

Had to stay in Gainesville for an extra night due to our dog being held over an extra night at the UF Veterinary Hospital. The place let us relax and hang out. The staff was very nice, and we enjoyed the breakfast.
