DoubleTree by Hilton Gainesville

Rooms were pretty typical except did not have a hair dryer. Maybe that was just mine. Also, I used up the complimentary make up wipe that was provided the first night and apparently you only get one per stay, as it was not replenished for second night. Halls and lobby were very humid, but it was early August and maybe A/C could not keep up.

Great. Clean room. No microwave in room to eat leftovers. No covers on balcony.

Doubletree was amazing. I was skeptical because I got such a great rate, but everything about the stay was above and beyond my expectations. I’ve paid double for a stay this nice!!

Great locación.. onsite bar restaurant. Only concern ground floor room/flooring seemed damp.

Room was clean and staff was friendly.

I had left a note so good review before, as I had forgotten a bag in the hotel room and I was not getting any help or responses. But in the end I was able to reach the right person, who helped me recover my stuff. Highly recommended.

All around excellent

Easy check in, wonderful and very kind staff everywhere, large parking lot (free), very comfortable bed and pillows, clean and modern bathroom, right off of I-75, and The Best Ever warm chocolate chip with walnuts cookies given at arrival and departure!!

Night staff was very nice. Morning staff refused to help me double check t h e charges on my stay. Placed 2 bfastast orders. One to go. I got both orders on a Styrofoam box. No attempts to correct the orders. Frustrated, I asked for utensils...." sorry , we only have 1 set of utensils "!!!!!!!

Pool could stay open longer.

Great location, close to many great restaurants. Room was very clean. Tv and shower were very updated. Great amenities

If I had another choice I’d stay elsewhere.

The morning of check out, the elevator near our room was not working which resulted in carrying luggage down three flights of stairs as we were on the 3rd floor.
