The front desk attendants were very helpful. I especially was impressed with the text I received after I checked in to make sure everything was going good with my stay. The hotel was very accommodating. It was also under construction (they were painting the building ) but you wouldn’t have known it without seeing it. Parking lot was marked off as they were painting the building outside and there were plenty of parking spaces. Our room was by a main exit for the hotel guests and we really did not hear the door open or closing. I would stay there again in the future.

The carpet in the room had a funny smell

Solid hotel, and great sized rooms. Rooms and hotel are a little dated, but super clean and the bed was good. The A/C unit was a little on the noisy side, but we'd certainly stay again.

We had a great stay! The customer service was excellent, the hotel was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The amenities provided everything we needed for a pleasant and convenient stay. Overall, a very good experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

So the highlight was the two women that vanished the bar and it seems all the food delivery and everything they’re super sweet and very hopeful and the food was fresh and I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was

Great stay at Gainesville. Staff excellent!

"The front desk staff didn't give us a friendly welcome at all. The receptionist didn't even look us in the eye and just gave a cold 'hi'... I'm not her friend to be treated like that. She didn't want to help with my questions either; all she wanted was for us to leave. The mattress was super soft, and the pillows were a disaster. The air conditioner kept blowing freezing cold air every few minutes, and then it would stop and we'd be sweating. We didn't get any rest at all. I've stayed at this hotel about four times already, but after this experience, I'm never coming back, and I hope no one else does either."

no worth the price what we paid for quote" their best room".... It looked like they remodeled the bar area and that was it. The rooms were very outdated and the smell of mold was overwhelming. We left after 1 night even though they charged us for 2 nights with no refund or help

Not a great stay at the Double Tree. It all started with the digital key and check-in which did work and demanded me to present myself at the front desk. Once arrived and having a room assigned, entered the room and there were disposable blue gloves on the floor as well as a very bad odor. To place the cherry on top, we had booked with breakfast included and the last day, breakfast was charged. I call the property, the front desk acknowledged the charge but had to wait for a manager to look at it and get back to me, so until now, have not received any feedback on this.
