This is a nice and modestly priced hotel a short trip to everything at the University of Florida. I booked for parents weekend at a decent price when other hotels had overly inflated prices and since I needed to visit earlier, I decided to do a test run and am happy with my decision for parents weekend versus driving in from Ocala or paying 5 times the normal price. I saw a few negative reviews that have little merit in my opinion. This is not the south of France! This is Gainesville, Florida. I didn’t see any dangerous looking people in the parking lot. The hotel is secure with keyed entry points and is across the street from a credit union with other commercial buildings near by. This is not the Taj Mahal, but you won’t find that anywhere near Gainesville, Florida. I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon.

Check in was suppose to be 3:00 pm they said room wasn’t ready till 7:30. When we finally got in the room the ceiling was dripping water, a huge spider was on wall room smelled terrible. The worse hotel I have seen. Wish I could include pictures that I took. Complained to manager and they they were very short, rude and no help at all. I booked this hotel for later this year as well and will definitely cancel that now as well. Go anywhere else.

It is quiet and it has a full refrigerator, stove top and microwave. It was also clean. The price was affordable. There are no pots, pans, dishware or utensils. Who travels with that stuff? Not me, so it defeats the purpose of having a kitchen. There's also no coffee maker in the room. It feels like an extended stay hotel but it is not equipped as such.

This place looks like a housing for the homeless which by the way I have nothing against but don't expect it on a hotel I will be staying. Stay away from this place, cheap is cheap.
