Bathroom needed a good cleaning and updated paint.

Nice accommodation and close enough to the casino. Booked through a third party which made the stay reasonable. Staff was also very friendly!

Due to the city road construction, the entrance was hard to find at night. Other than that, it was a fine stay

The property was very close and convenient for where we wanted to be but could have been modernized a bit more. Room was comfortable but woke up finding ants in the bed. Staff friendly.

This was my 3rd time to stay at the La Quinta in Gainesville. The first 2 times were great, no problems. After this stay we will not be returning. The room door frame was broken so the door wouldnt close completely. So we could hear everything going on in the hallway and lobby. There was an odor neutralizing machine left running in the room so apparantly they are having some type of mildew issues. Everything felt damp. The ac was cool but the compressor was loud and clanky when it ran. There was an led can light that was going out so it stayed glowing even when light was off making it bright in room. The bed frame is a metal box so it makes a loud pop noise anytime somebody moves or gets up. All of the bath products were empty so we had to use the sink hand soap to shower with. And the hot tub was out of order. Not the hotels fault but the construction in the area is horrible making it very difficult to locate and enter the parking lot.

Driveway wasn’t marked so due to construction was a little tricky to find. One elevator that moved slowly so, though I was staying on the fourth floor, my dog and I used the steps a few times. Upon entry at 5:45PM the A/C wasn’t even on so it was very hot in my room. After a few hours, it cooled down. All those things considered, I would stay here again due to ease of getting back on I45 for my travels to and from Houston.

The staff were excellent and accommodating. Anything that was asked was given. I felt welcome. The breakfast was very good. Everything looked fresh.

Love staying here convenient to casino and great staff. Room was clean just need to maintain little better. Breakfast was awesome as always.

stunk. Beds were a little uncomfortable. Semi-clean-bathroom had stuff on floor still and hair in tub. Air conditioner unit was loud and lots of construction around hotel.

Road construction in front of hotel makes it very hard to get in and out of property.

The desk clerk was friendly; no problems checking in. We were on the 2nd floor. After getting off elevator there was a strong mildew smell and the hall was warm and humid. We opened the door to our room and it didn't have that smell inside and it was 66° on the a/c. The room was clean but it needed updating. The paint was peeling in the bathroom by the floor and the door and frame had rust on it. The breakfast was good.

Everyone was very nice... I loved the suites, and proximity to the casino... the rooms were extra spacious... Will most definitely stay again
