The people in charge did an outstanding job . The meals were amazing. I will make it a point to visit this property again

The character, history and original furnishings Good breakfasts. Excellent and essential air conditioning Comfortable bed. Requiring further updating without losing original Victorian feel. Cleanliness of bathroom carpets and shower in need of maintenance Tv not easy to manage with poor reliability

The mansion is gorgeous and breakfast was above and beyond. It’s quite a few stairs if you’re walking to Main Street but that was part of the appeal. It’s a must try!

We stayed in the General Suite, which is lovely and spacious. The breakfasts were also very good. Lots of stairs to get to downtown.

Location was close to most things. Beds were comfortable. Property is in terrible need of maintenance and upkeep. We stayed in the Jackson room and our jetted tub was out of order. There was no mini fridge to keep drinks cold. I'm sorry, but every room should have a mini fridge. The hot tub outside was located in an old rotten wood structure and not inviting at all. We planned on enjoying these things on our once a year vacation. It was very disappointing and we felt we got "jipped". Although adequate, we felt breakfast could be a little better and better variety. Unless, the current owners invest in this property, it is only mediocre. I cannot recommend this place

Had the General Suite, and it was spacious and very comfortable! All the stairs to get to/from Main Street

Beautiful place. Bed squeaked really bad and we were an older couple and room on third floor. It was a lot of stairs for us. I would ask for second floor next time. Staff was great hot tub was wonderful

Very clean room and beautiful bathroom in Roosevelt room.. the bed was a bit creaky. But everything else wonderful.

To much to explain. The house was immaculate, deer were walking around all over the property. Maybe 10ft away from us. Hot tub was running. Breakfast was great. We stayed in the loft so we had a whole building to ourselves. Room was super clean, AC was perfect. It really felt at home. There was anything we didn’t like

Lovely dining room , antiques, lovely porches with rocking chairs. I didn’t walk in the English garden but it was nice to have the greenery. The manager was very informative about the history of the property and was very personable Unfortunately the breakfasts were sub par There were issues with the tv and the manager had to reprogram after I requested help
