The room itself was nice. We slept terrible. Tons of noise traffic from tge road and from other guests coming and going. The description said there was parking and there was designated parking for hotel guests. We had to park on a hill and caring all our stuff in.

We like the location of the property. It’s around 5 minutes walk to downtown Galena. Also, the facility is clean and staff is very helpful and friendly. The room that we got doesn’t have a restroom. So, when we used during the night, we had to unlock the digital door to get back. The lock is a little bit loud so it could wake up your partner during the sleep.

Great little spot at the edge of Galena Main Street. Nice, clean room. Nate, the host, was very accommodating and nice. I like how I could text him with any questions or concerns (we had none). Would stay here again. Everything was pretty nice and what I would expect an old building to be like. While the bed was not uncomfortable, I could see that being one area that could be even better. We didn't check out the included continental breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.

The manager was really friendly and helpful. The setting was charming and the proximity to town great. The room had windows on two sides and was a nice size The stairs were steep and we could hear the room next door.

Loved all the little extra, to try and think of what we would need, bed was very comfortable, place was a short walk to the park and downtown Galena, room was very clean and inviting. We stayed in room #10, next time I will use my phone app for background noise, to reduce the noise of the traffic, will definitely stay here again when we come to visit Galena in the fall and spring
