Irish Cottage Inn & Suites

We didn't eat breakfast. We usually eat 1 to 2 hours after being on the road. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The bathroom needs to be set up for handicap people. The chair in the shower was helpful, but my husband had troubles stepping over into the tub. There are no grab bars in the shower. The toilet needed to be taller. There needed to be a grab bar by the toilet.

The hotel is very charming , food was good & the live entertainment on Thursday was excellent! Highly recommend this hotel.

Quaint and clean. Loved the rooms, staff, restaurant. The live music was a very pleasant surprise.

The room, pool and jacuzzi were great. The inn is close grants house and not too far from town as well.

No milk nor creamer for coffee. Language of staff was marginal as was breakfast offerings

Enjoy the Irish flavor of the hotel – – E scones and tea in the afternoon, the Irish pub the Iris style of the building and the friendly and helpful staff.

The room was very large for a standard sized room, plenty of room to relax. It is an older building so be prepared for that, the staff does decent in keeping things clean. The small pool and hot tub were both nice.

The room was clean and well maintained. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was delicious on both days of my stay and made the start of my day brighter. Had a Julip at dinner from their bar and it was delicious. Tea time was relaxing in the library and made the experience extra enjoyable.

Had a very high end feel to the lobby, library room and bedrooms. Very clean and up to date. Loved the carry through of the Irish theme throughout. Food at the restaurant was great and breakfast each morning , which was included, was very good. Easy to get to all the local places.

Everything was great- the room and the staff. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar as well. On our short stay, we just didn’t use the amenities much.

Shuttle driver was outstanding. He really cared for all the riders and took care of them. Frank O'Dowd Irish Pub had the very best Celtic Rock Music entertainers called Heathfire Duo. They were great.

Loved this hotel. Having an Irish theme was lots of fun and tea time was a fun bonus. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, shuttle to downtown, fresh breakfast! The only thing I would improve on would be the menu selections at the restaurant. Did not eat there due to the selection.

Excellent place to stay when visiting Galena. Clean room with comfy bed. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the pub. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was wonderful. Top notch band as well. And the complimentary shuttle to downtown Galena was the best! We will definitely stay here every time we visit Galena.
