Staff was nice hotel was quiet

The walls had stains, the couch had stains, and the mattress had stains. At some point, I stopped wondering what they were and just accepted that apparently everything in the room came with its own mystery. Thankfully, I brought my own cot, so I had somewhere else to sleep. Unfortunately, because it was so close to the floor, I got to enjoy the full aroma of the carpet all night. It smelled so bad I felt like I was sleeping in a dog bed. The only thing missing from this room was a crime scene outline. For the price we paid, this was completely unacceptable. I honestly would have been better off staying at a Motel 6 and paying half as much. At least there I would have known exactly what I was getting. I expect a lot more from a Marriott property.

When we arrived the water was running. Later in evening no water and staff said it was a city problem. So we couldn't flush toilet or shower. Staff said it started on Sunday morning, the day before but water was on Monday eve when arrived? It was odd. Was hotel trying to save $ on water bill? Nonsense.

It is very conveniently located off of the interstate, with plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance

Staff is super nice. Fresh breaksfast and remodeled facilities. The only issue I had was that they had to re accomodate mhy familiy in a diferent type of room. Looks like they were selling the rooms that they didn't have available

The beds at this hotel were just horrible…none of us had a restful sleep. Breakfast was disappointing…it wasn’t too busy, but they kept needing to replenish the food. There wasn’t a toaster to toast your own bread, and even though it said potatoes were on the menu, none were to be found…staff admitted they didn’t have them.

Very nice check in and clean rooms.

However...the elevators were OUT! My wife is handicapped and prefers ground floor rooms, but none were available. Taking the stairs to the 3rd floor was very difficult.

The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. The elevators weren't working. Our shower was clogged, and the door sensor cover was not attached. We chose to stay in Gallup on our way home from Las Vegas, which was the halfway point. It had great reviews, but after driving 7 hours, we definitely didn't want to haul our luggage up the stairs. Also, it was very hard to sleep because of the loud window air-conditioning unit.

Knowing that we would arrive late, I called to notify the staff and they saved our room. The room was amazing. The bathroom had a unique flow. Breakfast was good and hot. The only hiccup was the elevators did not function properly and we got stuck once.

Great property with great staff that helped us with our third party reservation, Expedia. They were very accommodating. The room was spacious and very nice. Very clean and will be going back when we head that way again.

The pool was small but our 3 kids liked it. They made a comment that they liked how warm the water was. Breakfast was very good both mornings. The property in general was clean and well taken care of. What we didn’t like was how the hotel had only 1 elevator working. It wasn’t mentioned to us either when we checked in. Our room didn’t have black out curtains. Just a see through curtain that we didn’t like. It was hard our first night to sleep because our room was lit up with the outside lights. Overall it was very quiet, we didn’t hear anything. Beds were perfect. The hotel is gated and well lite. Yes, there’s homelessness in the area. Don’t be surprised to see them on the outside of the gate. They were all friendly and left us alone.
