Everything was great!

We booked the deluxe queen room, not aware it was a “smoking room” as there was no info when booking regarding this, and were unable to switch to a non-smoking room, which I imagine is what is pictured on the site when booking. The room had an extremely strong and consistently overpowering odor of cigarettes, we spotted cockroaches crawling around, and ants coming up from the sink drain. It seemed like the staff did what they could with what they were provided, but the property itself was terribly maintained, walls and floor, including the shower wall, were very damaged and deteriorating, and a screw sticking out from the handlebar in the bathroom.

Overall, the room looked clean but the big issue was that the room was infested with bed bugs.

The main problem I had was with the TV remote, it was very difficult to get the buttons to do anything consistently. I believe, for most people in a hotel room, that the TV is extremely important.

The place could use an update. The coffee pot was broken in the office area.

An old, very noisy air conditioner. . The staff enters the room without permission. When I checked out, they spent 15 minutes inspecting the room. They probably thought I had stolen their old furniture. The rooms do not have a microwave.

The staff was not friendly. When visiting a hotel you expect someone to be friendly,polite and welcoming. You get what you pay.
