This was our first time staying at sleepy bear. It was perfect for what we needed, and so much more affordable than other places to stay in Gatlinburg. The bed was comfy and the room was clean, looked like the carpet was brand new. The AC fans run all night which is really nice, not cutting on and off so it wakes you up. Also you can hear the creek behind the hotel which is very soothing. The most amazing thing is that they cook you a fresh hot breakfast if you start on the weekend, and the breakfast chef is the nicest guy. It's a great way to start the day.

What a great place to spend a few days! It’s nothing fancy but everything about this place is exceptional. Cook to order breakfast, real eggs (had to find in a hotel breakfast!), great pool, off the busy strip but close to everything! Direct TV so plenty of channels for a quick rain storm, large pool, friendly staff, clean spacious room- really can’t think of anything negative. We will definitely be back!

The pool is clean and feels great on a hot day. Excellent location too with a trolley stop right across the street. The made to order breakfast is delicious on Saturday and Sunday morning.

It’s a simple clean room. It was all we needed. Comfortable beds.

This property was immaculate and totally updated. The bed was firm and the towels big and fluffy. On weekends there is a made-to-order home cooked breakfast. Our room overlooked a stream.
