The room was dirty from the carprt to the bathroom, the shower curtain was moldy, the tub jets have never been cleaned the toliet was dirty. The staff did not clean our room. No clean towels, did not empty garbage , nothing . the pool was dirty also. Dont stay here if you care about cleanliness

Ive stayed at over 400 Hotels and this is in the top 3 Worst hotels i have ever stayed at in my life.

Property was run down. No breakfast. Room was clean. Staff was helpful.

It was filthy! Will never stay again.

The door to our room would not close properly so it didn’t feel safe and secure, the bathroom door did not close for privacy, the toilet wouldn’t flush without manually doing it and that was noticed in the middle of the night. The air conditioner never cooled the room and made loud noises all night and the curtains blew into the air while it was on. The beds were awful and felt like we were sleeping on box springs. And we had one flat pillow each. The hot tub/pool area had dirty towels lying everywhere too. I realize this is summer in northern Michigan but charging this price is absurd. I would NEVER stay here again. If I could rate this negative stars I would. Hotels.com should remove this from their list.

My family and I booked this hotel last minute while traveling, be aware this hotel is very run down and dirty. The pictures advertised must be from about 20 years ago when the hotel maybe wasn’t so disgusting. Bugs all over, gross smells, homeless people congregating in the parking lot. We weren’t in the hotel maybe 10 minutes before we said absolutely not and had to drive down the road to sleep somewhere safe. Hotel & Expedia denied our refund even though we only stepped into the room for 1 minute. Don’t waste your time or money.

Hotel smelled like a sewer. The men's public bathroom was out of order and the ladies room was filthy. Many toilet seats up filled with feces and the seats that were down had urine all over them. Hir tub wasn't hot according to guests. We left the same day we checked in and the hotel gave zero f's.

The facility is a little rundown. Some efforts of repair were underway. But if you don't mind that, it is perfectly reasonable. Room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. TV and channels or better than I expected, bathroom was clean. There was coffee but no coffee maker. There was an ironing board but no iron. But if you can overlook some of these items, the price was very reasonable for the area.

I am so overwhelmed, I do not know where to begin. FACTS: ABSOLUTE FILTH, AND STENCH, ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN, DRUG RESIDUE ON THE COUNTER, DEAD BUGS ON THE DRESSER, HAIR STILL ON/AROUND TUB, FECES/BLOOD ON BATHROOM DOOR. AVOID! SHOULD BE CONDEMNED!

The property was pretty old 30 years ago and hasn’t been renovated since… it did the job though. Location was pretty good and close to everything.

Ended up not staying. Hotel was dark, run down, & dirty. To get a refund I have to wait for the manager to approve, manager is yet to be there every time I contact them.

The bed was comfy. Needs to be fixed up. Mold in the bathroom

The bathroom was in disrepair and filthy. The carpeting in the room was scarry and the furniture was yard sale. The curtains were broken and light streamed in in our faces.

There were spots of this hotel that look great and newly redone, while other parts look old and dirty. It seems like the pictures were taken of the newer things while pictures of other things like dirty bathroom walls, chipping tubs, and does that don’t close well aren’t showed. Our air was also broken, it blowed and seemed like it was cold, but even on the lowest setting it was so hot we couldn’t sleep.

The room was very dirty. The bathtub/shower didn’t look like they had cleaned up prior to our arrival. I know the hotel was remodeled a short time ago, but the work on it was so rushed. It makes it look unfinished the carpeting in the hallways, not clean.

My shower didn't have a way to fill the tub other than running the shower
