Super 8 by Wyndham Gettysburg

Room pretty clean. Hotel can use new windows for sure. Bugs kept getting in our room through the cracks in the windows. Bed not very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice pool and hot tub. Overall good stay

Room smelled a little damp but everything else was great

Are far as Super 8's go, we've stayed at numerous ones over the years & this was far better than some of the other ones. And believe it or not, there was an actual AMERICAN who understood & spoke English behind the counter when we checked in. So refreshing to be able to converse with someone in the same language I speak. Most of the time I need an interpreter when checking in. The only draw back & the reason I didn't give 5 stars. There was no hot food for the breakfast, which kinda sucked, but overall is went well. In addition, the staff was very helpful & friendly.

Very friendly staff. Be sure to tip them. The facility was fine but the shower is not made for anyone who is taller than 6' 0". Good water pressure. Simple breakfast but it worked. The rooms were spacious and worked well. The pool was quite big and had a lot of activity. The neighborhood was really quiet and the hotel was too. Overall we had a very positive experience. The only reason we did not give full stars is because it definitely smells like pets at the entrance. The rooms we stayed in didn't smell. Yet when we are having breakfast, we couldn't stop smelling the pets. I appreciate a hotel that will allow folks to bring their pets with them. I am not sure what you could do to prevent the pet smell. Besides that, I think it was exactly the short layover we needed.

Our room smelled like wet dog.

The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. It is a good place for a no-frills affordable stay. Only 10 minutes from the battlefield and close to downtown Gettysburg. My only issues were the front desk was not consistently monitored and there were not any comfortable places to sit in the room.

The staff were very nice the location was great and the fridge actually worked very well Room smelled like a post game locker room very unpleasant smell bathroom was filthy floor was sticky and had mix of what looked like pubic and head hair all over the floor,bought disenfectant wipes and cleaned it myself.a couple days super strong skunk like smell filled the hall,stairway,lobby,and even seeped into room on occasion.

My kids had a great time during our stay here. Their family suite was awesome! We didn't expect it to be like that. The pool was clean, cozy and nice manager. I think she's Amy (?), she checked us in a little early and was so nice to upgrade us to the family suite which was so perfect! It had a mini kitchen complete with full fridge, sink, tables and chairs and separate sleeping area for the kids. They loved the breakfast and the pool!

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was satisfactory. Room cleaning needs some improvement. Had to go get towels, etc. twice on my own, as cleaning people missed us three days in a row!

Decent hotel in a quieter location with friendly staff and decent breakfast bar. Average rooms, a bit dated, but comfortable enough.

My grandson left behind his little league sweatshirt. Housekeeping found it while cleaning and the staff notified us before we even knew it was missing. They graciously offered to mail it to us. Greatly appreciated their thoughtfulness and going the extra mile.

Awesome breakfast. Also super enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Room was very clean and the extra bed we requested was set up for us when we got there

Location Could use a thorough cleaning . Sofa had stains, carpet under sleeper sofa had not been swept.
