I had low expectations for this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean. Our room even had a ceiling fan, which was nice.

Room was very clean but a little dated. Breakfast was okay for a Continental. One of the staff was taken care of the breakfast, He was very helpful . I didn’t care much for the coffee. It was not brewed. It was liquid flavored coffee with hot water mix. I bought coffee elsewhere. There was no one at the front desk most of the time with the front doors locked. They were out working elsewhere in the hotel. If you rang for them , they come immediately, I guess they were short on staff. I would stay here again.

The hotel was about what I expected and don't have any serious complaints. The staff were all friendly. There were a couple of things I didn't like. When we arrived in the afternoon the door to the lobby didn't open and there was a sign stating to use the phone outside the door to call the desk. I've never seen this and wondered if we were in a dangerous part of town. Giddings, Texas seems like a very safe and nice city. We were late getting to breakfast, and that was not the hotels fault, but I did expect them to have a coffee bar as we see in all the hotels we stay at. I'm a Diamond member and have never had to use a phone or key-card to go through the front door at any other Best Western property.

Had a few issues with the door lock and the TV. Issues were resolved in a timely fasion.

Great stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff as very friendly and helpful.

Bugs in the shower. Water had me feeling slimy. Was way too expensive. No hot breakfast. Beds were horrible. The guy that checked me in took 20 minutes.

The room was very nice.. David was very professional and offered a good breakfast selection..

The hotel was dark, either poor lighting or low wattage bulbs. Also, the room was very musty and not as clean as would be expected. We did get daily housekeeping however and the breakfast was OK.
