Hyatt Place Denver/Cherry Creek

The parking was the only confusing thing. There was a qr code to register,... but the front desk person asked for my details. The hotel bill had $15 charge for parking. After checking in,... qr code parking company notified wanting car information etc. Essentially, I was charged twice for parking with the qr code parking service tacking on a $1.99 service fee...total $16.99. Called the front desk of hotel the next day and the staff member reimbursed for the extra charge. Lesson is.....have staff take your parking info, do not use QR code to register car for parking.

I love Hyatt but this one fell short. The floor in our room was dirty when we arrived and was never swept during our stay. Spills in the lobby and towels in the halls were left most of the day. Coffee and shampoos were not restocked the next day. The staff was nice but had an overall “I’m so bored to be here” attitude. Not a horrible experience but they could do better.

We arrived very late in the evening and the staff checked us in very quickly which we appreciated since we were very tired. The breakfast the next day was delicious. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Our experience was that the room was not very clean. Linens had stains, mold in the bathroom, tub was not really clean, water pressure was terrible (3 girls with me so major complaint). Others may have a different experience, but we will not return.

After I moved into my room around 4pm I discovered the refrigerator was not clean but there was no staff available after 5pm to do anything about it; front desk said they would get someone to it 1st thing in the morning however, when I returned at 1pm, nobody had touched it so I had to chase down housekeeping. The walls and floors seem to be made of paper; on the 2nd night of my stay there was non-stop running/jumping until 10:30pm (this was not the noise children would make, definitely teens or adults) but worse was noise from the room next door where guest(s) watched TV at significant volume until 1am... I even knew what show they were watching. At 12:30am I called the front desk to ask for help in getting volume turned down and that issue was resolved by 1:00am. I moved to a different room the next day to find the refrigerator in that room was broken and had to be replaced. Since I was staying there for a week, the refrigerator issue in two rooms and unacceptable noise level were very frustrating.

Nothing spectacular. Didn't disclose that parking was paid... Seems a bit much for the middle of the ghetto...

Very disappointed with this hotel. We ask for house keeping a few days during our 5 day stay. The trash wasn’t dumped and no coffee or creamer restocked. The 3rd day the air began to be less cool . All was reported to the front desk but not rectified. Our daughter lives 5 minutes away but we won’t be staying here again!

They recently increased their pet fee to $100 - there is also a parking fee- i understand a refundable fee if our dog leaves a mess that requires extra time but the flat fee no matter how long or short your visit is- seems silly.

Many other hotels in the Glendale area are tired and worn. this one has been updated and well maintained.

Not a big fan of having to pay for parking on an open lot adjoining the hotel. Mist hotels provide free parking

The hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. The view of the mountains was very pretty. Bathrooms were large and clean with good hot water pressure. Large space in the double queen room. Parking was easy, although you have to pay nightly. Close access to a lot of places to eat and easy highway access. We came to see University of Denver and it is a 7-minute easy drive. The elderly front desk employee doesn't seem thrilled with her job with eye rolls about soccer players in town, rude comment about people with dogs and wasn't thrilled to move us to the room type that we had requested. Maybe she was just tired at night. Besides her, the rest of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bar restaurant downstairs has a very small menu, but their wings and chicken sandwich were very good. The breakfast was just ok, but included. It is the standard bland, scrambled eggs, some meat source, toast, yogurt, pancakes, a few cereals, oatmeal, toast sort of thing. We ate there once and ate out the rest of the week. We would stay here again.

Conveniently located for the purpose of our stay. Appreciated the security maintained for the parking lot. Brandon, at the front desk, checked us in and was very helpful to us throughout our stay. We had a few issues arise during our 4-night stay and he made sure our needs were met with excellent customer service. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good. All staff we interacted with were courteous and intent on making sure we were satisfied with our stay.

Very spacious room for our family of 5. clean and beautiful view from the 11th floor windows. breakfast was great!

This has been our go to destination in Cherry Creek. The last five times we’ve visited Denver. The staff is always friendly. The parking lot is safe. The rooms are very clean and modern. Breakfast is terrific and the dining room is clean. I highly Recommend Hyatt Pl., Cherry Creek.

The elevator was also out of service during our stay, and at one point we had to use the service/freight elevator, which was inconvenient. One other thing I noticed was during housekeeping: the staff member wore gloves while cleaning the bathroom, but I did not see her change gloves or wash her hands before making the bed afterward. This made me a bit concerned about hygiene standards. Overall, the stay was acceptable, and the friendly staff were a positive part of the experience, but there are some areas where the hotel could improve.
