Hampton Inn Gonzales

👍👍😊. Room was clean and well kept.

We choose to stay at Hampton Inn because of the cleanliness, the friendly staff. There are so many choices but we have never been disappointed in any of our stays at Gonzales, Baton Rouge, or Biloxi.

The room was so spacious and the staff was incredibly nice!

The check-in process was smooth. Friendly staff available to assist. The rooms were nice and clean.

Great place to stay, awesome staff!

The staff was phenomenal which is extremely important to me. The accommodations were good other than we had to switch rooms due to a broken pipe in the bathroom sink. The staff was very apologetic and switched us directly across from the original room and in a timely manner. Honestly I can’t think of anything to say that I didn’t like about the property.

Comfy beds.

The staff was friendly. There property was clean. Was close to shopping, restaurants, and venues. The free breakfast was good and the host was very friendly. The guest luggage carts were a bit worn and hard to push.

When I walked in to the lobby, another guest was changing rooms because his Floor smelled horrible. He was switched. I asked when I got to the desk to please not put on that floor and not to be placed near children ( I am always place near loud kids) I was coming for a get away to rest and possibly a good nap- It was also our anniversary too.(I am a caretaker for family that does not allow me to rest.) We went to our room and unpacked and went to dinner. When we came back, there were kids next door who was loud thru the door/wall. I texted and called the front desk but was not moved. We had a fire alarm in the middle of the night, elevator not working and having everyone on the floor taking the stairs right next to our room in the morning. That was guest and staff starting at 6 in the morning. The kids next door woke up at 6:30. Mid day I received a call from the hotel with a mix up for two rooms ( I only slept in one- the other was on stinky floor) and charged twice. Had to get our keys rekeyed when we came back. Coming back to our room, the kids started again being super loud. Called again, but stayed because I was just done for the day.Also there was horrible construction around the hotel that was not known before booking. I’m not sure if we are coming back anytime soon. The only plus was a indoor pool.

We were late checking in, but the staff was extremely helpful and had everything ready for us. The room was extremely nice and the entire place was clean and neat. The pool was a nice bonus, especially with kids. Everyone was nice, and we even extended our stay an extra night. They made it so easy and smooth to do, allowing us to stay in the same room. Will definitely be staying again, and recommend to anyone.

The location and staff met all exceptions of our stay. The only thing I would say is that the construction around the property was a bit hectic.

We typically stay here every May. Our toilet would not flush and our shower kept backing up so we could not use it. The front desk was no help.
