TownePlace Suites by Marriott Milwaukee Grafton

Loved the location for what we were there to do. We reserved a suite w/a kitchenette which we wanted to be able to have a bigger fridge and I was bringing my own breakfast due to diet. We could NOT get the air down to cool off to the our choices without getting up constantly to try to get it down. Also, we usually run the fan at night in hotels for “white noise” especially when right on the highway. That was not an option. Our 1st night there my husband almost fell in the tub/shower because it was sooo slippery. I discovered the same thing the next morning. So we ran to Walmart the next day and got a bath mat and a small fan. The air in the hallways were set on 78!!!! So you would come out of your room and be met by a wall of heat and humidity. Maybe some maintenance needs to be done or upgrades to their H AC? My husband loved the breakfast.

The room was fine, served its purpose. We didn’t have housekeeping a single day or clean towels. Area was nice and had a few stores.

With this being a pet friendly hotel, you should really make sure you clean the rooms. My dog went under the bed for a second and ate chocolate. He was sick for two days. Luckily he’s okay but the customer shouldn’t have to worry about their pup getting sick or worse because the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned.

Enjoyed our stay at Town Place Suites in Grafton. We were in the area to visit Cedarburg and this was a much more reasonable option and Uber was available. Clean, friendly staff. I think the front desk agent may have been training or he just had a brain freeze. When checking in, I presented my ID. However, I never signed a registration card or gave any vehicle info or was confirmed my room type and # of nights I was staying. The next day, I asked for a second key and simply provided my room #. No confirmation of my name or anything. This definitely wouldn't stop us from returning, like I said the agent may have been training or having an off day. 5 star stay all the way. Thank you.
