Residence Inn by Marriott Grand Junction

Complimentary breakfast was awful. We got there about 8:30 and the coffee was lighter than a mild tea with no flavor. The French toast, sausage and bacon were all gone with no plans of replenishing them. Had to go out to get coffee and breakfast.

The shower curtain is way too short….alot of water went on the floor outside the tub. Also the frying pan that was provided looked like it had been placed back in the cupboard without ever being washed….Disgusting! The toilet runs after being flushed.

We were disappointed that the pool needed maintenance and wasn’t operational as we had children with us who were looking forward to swimming.. In addition the condition of the room was well used and despite the staff members best efforts we weren’t able to get our air conditioning to work! We had two young children with us hence chose not to switch rooms although it was offered and instead was provided points to make up for the inconvenience. I do want to highlight however the night female staff member was excellent and tried very hard to assist us. This staff member was a highlight of the trip. If given another opportunity I would staff at different hotel.

The inside and rooms coukd use a face-lift. For what we paid for the room, I thought it would be more modern but it was outdated. Staff were amazing. We were greeted when we came in and left. Friendly, kind and caring.

Hotel is fine but definitely dated. Couch frayed, wood work scraped up and just looking old and used. At the very least the TV’s should be updated and provide streaming options. That lone tells me the facility hasn’t seen a renovation in quite some time.

This was a last minute addition to our trip across the country. The hotel was very clean and the staff was polite and welcoming.

Breakfast was good. Sofa bed was horrible.

Checked in the first room. Took a nap and woke up to the TV pulling off the wall and falling on top of the dresser. Moved to second room and the A/C unit was making a loud clicking noise. Won't be able to sleep. Moved to third room and when I took a shower the next morning the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all empty. Not a good experience.
