Americas Best Value Inn Grayson

Got there around 12am. Traveling with my daughter and her friend. Went to the bathroom and the door wouldn't open and was broke. Had to be let out by the overnight staff. Thank goodness I was with someone because if not I would have been stuck in there as I did not have my phone or anything else. This happened twice because as I was getting ready I fell into the door and it closed shut again. I had to be let out a 2nd time. Very unsafe and inconvenient. The 1st time was barely met with an apology. The girl barely said anything. Had it not been so late at night I would have really went off.

I’ve been staying at this motel for more than 15 years and it never disappoints. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly. The only drawback is that pool is not functional at the moment, however, the owner stated he was working on getting it repaired or replaced. I’ll always stay at this motel every time I’m in Grayson.

The staff was great, very nice and eager to help. The carpet was sticky and gross. The bathroom had random holes in the wall. I was afraid to touch anything. This could be a good place to stay if some repairs and updates are completed.

It was close to the festival I was attending. It was pretty nice in the inside and clean. The outside looked kinda bad. The rail on the stairs was loose and the steps were a bit crooked.

Extremely unclean. It was disgusting. Found a box of condoms left over from previous tenant. Mold in bathroom, dirt in corners of sink area and room,, broken furniture, went to sit in the only chair in the room and it had a broken leg. Smelly and dark dirty carpet.

I was told by the manager KC I would be refunded because I was charged twice. Now they don’t want to refund me my money and stopped answering my messages

The reviews seemed better than it was. 3 star 7 out of 10? No chance. Little flying bugs in the room and poor air quality. Don't do it!

I would give this place an 11 if I could. We stayed in several hotels as we have crossed the USA and this was the cleanest and best stocked hotel we have stayed on this trip.

Clean but outdated. It took a long time to get hot water. We only stayed one night and needed a hot shower and sleep but would not stay here again. Outdated and a little pricey

large bathroom, a side chair, nice refrigerator, decent bed, good air conditioner, carpet looked bad, dark and worn. walls needed painted. drapes were wrinkled, pancake syrup was gooey and tasteless, toilet need cleaned. sheets thin and stained. the room wasn't cooled for us. was turned on heat. the manager came and fixed it. was nice

The location was great for me.The building is run down! The breakfast wasn't enough & needs to be more. The underneath bed sheets weren't clean. Sheets weren't changed just beds remade. The breakfast or bed sheets.

It's a good place to stay at

Broken stairs, air conditioning didn’t work well, room smells of stale smoke, broken door knob in restroom, broken toilet paper holder, bed was spring mattress & very uncomfortable, bathroom floor very dirty

Got woke up by 2 roaches crawling on my face the second day of my stay, Never again choosing the cheapest hotel around. tv cut in and out. Stairs in poor repair. Heating/ac had no wording on it( cool/heat) full outside trash cans.
