Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Greenville

It was a very nice stay. The pool is a little small, but the perfect temperature and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The very beautiful and nice lady attendant was on top of restocking anything that ran low even until the end of the breakfast time window. Very sound proof rooms and REALLY HELPFUL STAFF. I highly recommend.

Rooms: Times must be hard. The front desk clerk has to come to your room to jiggle the cord behind if you want to watch TV. No liners in trashcans. Ant infested room. Trashcan was put together with cardboard. Clogged sink, drains slow. Refrigerator programmed to only stay on 2 hours and off 8 hours. We learned to check the fridge every time we walked past after initial food spoiled. Staff are courteous but helpless. No ant spray. Could only spray disinfectant on ants and wipe with a cloth. My husband killed the spider himself. I could have gone to the store and purchased spray in the 3 hours it took them to send someone. If the kind maintenance guy is not at work, everyone else is helpless. He even used the shop vac because they have no ant spray. He wanted to rinse the trashcan and that's when he discovered it was held together with cardboard. Some are non English speaking, yet kind. But they are not given spider/bug spray to use in the room. They just scratch and clean in that environment. The hotel pay a pesticide company to come out a few times a year, but not when you need him, I was told. I was so disappointed. I almost offered to go to Lowes for them. Can't blame the staff.

Clean & an AMAZING staff!! Reginald & Javier were amazing!! Everyone was so nice but these 2 were exceptional! Just one breakfast person working & lied to a guest saying she was the manager when he asked for one. She was very rude towards some people.

The property was clean and in a great location The elevator did not stop at our floor so we had to call down for the elevator to be sent up to us . Also we had to go down to get fresh towel . Housekeeping never came during our entire stay

One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the pool, as we were in town for a kids’ baseball tournament and wanted our children to have a way to relax and unwind after a long day of games. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service during our stay, which was a major inconvenience. What was most frustrating was the lack of accommodation from management. Despite the pool being unavailable and not receiving the amenities we expected when booking, we were not offered any type of refund, discount, or compensation. I understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, but I believe better communication and customer service would have made a significant difference. I hope the hotel takes these concerns into consideration to improve future guests’ experiences.

Room was great Swimming Pool was not usable

Was told when I asked about the pool that it was out of service and expected to be ready by the next day however that never happened. 4 days later no pool. Definitely put a bummer on the trip as I mainly booked it for the pool to keep my grandson entertained and it rained every day so the pool would of been great

The elevator didn’t work properly The pool went out I had to change my room I had a ants nest near my bed The room service was prompt or efficient for my basic needs

Clean room and nice breakfast!

The hotel was very clean, neat, and beautiful. When I arrived, it looked like a brand-new hotel. However, the front desk staff member informed me that it has been open since 2018. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and respectful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Clean rooms and property, solid breakfast, great maid services and overall just a great experience.

My family were greeted by a gentleman named "Mo" when we checked in and he was very welcoming, professional and polite to us. The housekeeping crew did a wonderful job during our stay. We definitely plan on coming back to this hotel when we plan to visit North Carolina again
