Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Greenville

One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was the pool, as we were in town for a kids’ baseball tournament and wanted our children to have a way to relax and unwind after a long day of games. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service during our stay, which was a major inconvenience. What was most frustrating was the lack of accommodation from management. Despite the pool being unavailable and not receiving the amenities we expected when booking, we were not offered any type of refund, discount, or compensation. I understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, but I believe better communication and customer service would have made a significant difference. I hope the hotel takes these concerns into consideration to improve future guests’ experiences.

Was told when I asked about the pool that it was out of service and expected to be ready by the next day however that never happened. 4 days later no pool. Definitely put a bummer on the trip as I mainly booked it for the pool to keep my grandson entertained and it rained every day so the pool would of been great

Clean room and nice breakfast!

The hotel was very clean, neat, and beautiful. When I arrived, it looked like a brand-new hotel. However, the front desk staff member informed me that it has been open since 2018. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and respectful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Clean rooms and property, solid breakfast, great maid services and overall just a great experience.

My family were greeted by a gentleman named "Mo" when we checked in and he was very welcoming, professional and polite to us. The housekeeping crew did a wonderful job during our stay. We definitely plan on coming back to this hotel when we plan to visit North Carolina again

Close proximity to medical facilities

Hotel staff were very friendly. Chante was very helpful with check in with our 3 rooms. Only 2 miles from ECU campus.

My first room was on the first floor and was so noisy. I could hear delivery trucks every morning starting at 4:00am. The lock to my door was broken and the toilet lid was also broken. After two nights, I asked to be moved and thankfully they moved me to the third floor. It was much quieter. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable.

Location Very small pool , shower floor looked very filthy had to buy a shower mat to put down , shower door needed to be fixed it was very hard to open and close .

The staff was hospitable from the time we arrived til we left. Breakfast was a very good assortment and delicious!! Would stay there again!!

Coffee available in the afternoon. Our stay was extended 5 days due to emergency gallbladder surgery my husband had. Staff was very accommodating and compassionate during this time.
