The hotel smelled cigarettes

When we arrived, the hotel sent a welcome message and said respond to this text if there is anything we can do. The toilet had a filthy wide black ring of bacteria around the water line. I responded to this text as instructed and even sent a picture. No one ever responded to the text or cleaned the toilet. Nastiest hotel ever

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The actual facility was run down. We needed more towels and they were out. They did however bring a clean batch soon as possible.

The hotel room was subpar. The floor was peeling up in some spots, and the thing you turn to turn on the shower was missing the handle, so you had to turn a metal peg. When we got to the room, we had a few things to put in the refrigerator, but when I opened it, it was warm because the fridge wasn't even plugged in. The room was hot because it's July in the south, but thankfully it cooled down when I turned on the AC unit. The beds were comfy enough. We didn't bother with the free breakfast because it was just apple juice (the oj dispenser was broken), coffee, and waffles.

The breakfast could have included more of a variety of foods but what was there was good The pool was closed because of repairs being done and that was one reason I chose to stay there. Should have been notified it wouldn't be open during my stay
