Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Greenville/University Medic

This was not the best stay. I needed to ask someone to come vacuum my room after I checked in. The floor was gross. There was no ice in the ice machine and the vending machine did not dispense drinks. The shuttle was not ready for airport transfer even though it was requested ahead of time and the staff was not all that friendly.

Room clean but Microwave rusted inside with food splattered inside and extreme order! Informed staff but no action taken. TV screen smiled. Elevator door smiled. Complained to staff on arrival; No action taken during 3 day stay.

Stayed on the 3rd floor. It stated that there was a vending machine and ice machine on that floor. There was no vending machine (snacks nor drinks) & the ice machine was broken with no sign stating that. Constantly going on the 1st floor for ice was not cool and I did that becaus, of course it kept melting, but there was no refrigerator nor a microwave in the room..the staff were very friendly and super nice to us though.

The staff was amazing and gave outstanding customer service.

Pictures of property are not accurate at all. Lobby smelled, 3rd floor smelled of marijuana , room extremely small, carpet dirty, no hangers in closet, towels thin and small. Bed and bathroom were clean. For the amount of money we were charged because it was Parents Weekend at ECU, we could have stayed at a 4 star hotel in Raleigh.

The hotel is a very affordable place to stay, especially during busy college weekends. The staff was great, but the rooms need to be updated. I had three small pillows on my bed. Thankfully, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was falling apart. The cushions in our window seat had been Marked up by a pen. There was a weed stench in the hallways. We’ve stayed here three times and this will probably be the last time. There are not a lot of options in Greenville so if you’re not too picky and want a cheaper place to stay, just don’t have any expectations on your room.

The hotel was completely outdated. Breakfast was not good at all. Sheets had stains and tub was moldy many things were broken and out of order. Staff was very nice. Wyndham should be ashamed of themselves for even offering this property with their brand.

Would never stay again!!! For a non smoking floor it reeked of weed. The entrance was filthy that should have been our first sign to run. Honestly, there is NO reason it should have been that dirty. The room smelled of mold. Pretty sure the tub had never been cleaned. For what we paid we were taken for a lot of money. Stay at your own risk!!

Hot water in shower was warm. Tv didn’t work. I had to plug in the ac unit. Ceiling in bathroom is falling apart

This hotel is very old and dirty. The carpet in our room was wet and the room had a bad smell (mixture of smoke, weed, dampness). Would not recommend this hotel unless you are desperate.

The third floor was eerie. I then moved to Room 105, which smelled like a spoiled, wet mop. There was broken furniture, and the bathroom trash can was very dirty. There was no room service, so we had to ask for sheets and towels. The bathroom was decent, but overall condition of the room was unacceptable. The continental breakfast was disappointing, the bagels were cold, and serving hard boiled eggs. Overall, this was a very poor hotel experience, and the condition of both rooms did meet reasonable standards of cleanliness or comfort. To the Staff, especially the women of color: you have a opportunity to do things right and take pride in the responsibility of running a hotel. I noticed the even the chair in the manager's office was torn and badly worn. The entire property is showing its age and is clearly in need a serious upgrade, better maintenance, and attention to detail.

Parking was good, staff was helpful. Breakfast was limited. Room had a smoking odor although it was non smoking room, ribbons from an old party were still taped in room and an Easter egg was on top of the armoire. While the room seems tidy these items plus the odor made you wonder about cleanliness.

The TV was unwatchable due to the fact we couldn’t even see the screen when turned on. The carpet smelled gross

Overall the room was clean and I could sleep. I left for work at 4am so I have no idea how breakfast is.

Walked in a 3 people are smoking marijuana in the lobby including the front desk clerk. Place was gross!

It wasn't terrible but definitely not what I saw in the picture. The room had some not so great spots in there .
