Aloft by Marriott Greenville Downtown

Our room was a little small and not the cleanest when we arrived. They don’t give you many towels. But we requested room to be serviced daily and that was helpful. Overall we enjoyed our time.

The hotel is right in the heart of Downtown Greenville, there's restaurants, a CVS and all kinds of stuff in walking distance. It was worth every penny

Nice place, my second time staying in an Aloft. This one was much nicer. The staff were helpful and the parking was reasonable and convenient. I loved the ice in bags in a freezer on every floor.

Very clean room. Get a 6 floor room facing the pool and the balcony has pool access with fire pits

We always love Aloft! Not having a fridge in our room was a bit inconvenient, but we made it work!

The dog friendly poolside rooms are so fun. You can sit outside up on the 6th floor with yr pet. And the reception area has a bar that is also dog friendly.

Pet friendly, close to anything in downtown Greenville. Walked to concert venue and back! Awesome location!

Communication and directional signage are minimum. Recommend someone from leadership to step back and drive the property and think through clarity for guests. Also, a welcome video from the hotel to guests on navigation from parking, lobby entrances, and even key cards in the elevators. Not bad things, but first experiences are important to guests, especially out of town and first timers.

Initially, the parking situation and check in (fourth floor vs ground level) was a little confusing. The breakfast add on was not worth it.

All good with the exception of the first and second shift of the front desk inability to program parking key cards correctly. We spent the 5 of our 7 days dealing with not being able to get in and out of the parking garage. The excuses they gave are failed attempts to blame the guests and Greenville city. Thankfully, the night auditor corrected it and we had no problems after. As a former GSR and Hotel GM, the excuses were insulting while dealing with the inconvenience nearly our entire trip.

There’s an incredible coffee shop in the shared courtyard, probably one of the best roasters in the US- Methodical. The hotel bar has a genuinely lovely human making you feel at home. I had a particular ice request with my soda water, simple order but one that brings me simple comfort. He welcomed my inquiry, laughed WITH me for a second as I defined the parameters and my affection for “good ice” - iceman, thanks for humoring me. Would def book here again.

Location, cleanliness - the room smelled great. We arrived early and were pleasently suprised to find that our room was ready. Staff were polite and professional. Cocktails were delicious. The pool was way smaller in reality than they make it look in the photos. Still nice though. I think the room was a little overpriced for the quality of the hotel but I guess that is because of the location.

Very nice property, clean and staff very professional. They don’t tell you or have a sign saying you have to drive into a parking garage . Park temporarily, go inside take elevator up to main lobby to check in., very poor and confusing.

It was a great place, staff was awesome, and located right in the middle of everything!
