the room at the Gresham Motel 6 Turned out to be. The service was also wonderful. The young lady at the desk was so polite, nice and helpful, and the young man who came to work the following shift was just as helpful and nice. In these times where finding good help is so hard, management here should be very grateful to have such great employees.

Walking distance to McDonalds and close to Walgreens. Okay neighborhood. Hotel is a little dated but good value for the money

Room was ok for my needs

In the initial phase of my stay, I observed that while some rooms were adequately clean, others were not maintained to the expected standard. The most significant issue, however, was the unprofessional conduct of a front desk employee. She appeared more engrossed in her personal artistic endeavors than in her professional duties and exhibited an unpleasant demeanor. There was a stated policy limiting stays to a maximum of two weeks. Despite having a receipt confirming my seven-day stay, which was also reflected in the establishment's computer records, she insisted on seeing my receipt and seemed intent on finding a pretext to expedite my departure. This contradicted prior information from the manager, who had previously indicated that a two-week stay was permissible, followed by a 24-hour absence before re-entry. It was evident that familial relationships appeared to dominate the staff, suggesting that interpersonal conflicts could easily escalate into issues for guests. The establishment would benefit from new management and a revised staffing approach. The sole exception to this negative experience was an elderly gentleman who consistently demonstrated a respectful attitude.

This hotel is a nice value stay in the area. Its at the end of the max light rail line as well as the bus station. There is every restaurant you could think of fast food wise within a mile. As well as there are multiple independent restaurants close. Its a very convenient location. The only draw back is it being the last stop on the light rail line so extra time is needed to get to places. Usually an hour to hour and fifteen ride. We went to the Zoo and downtown Portland, both trips being just over an hour one way. The front staff was accommodating and got us rooms close together; we ended up having 4 rooms total. The place was clean but older. Some maintenance still being done or needing to be done soon. Overall it was a nice stay.

Housekeeper are amazing at keeping the rooms safe and sanitary but they sure would do better to hire more mature, respectful staff.

The hospitality was great, very family friendly, very clean room and air conditioned. All rooms come with microwave and fridge you can control the temperature of the air conditioner isn’t controlled by them like most hotels are. Restaurants and transit nearby and pet friendly and very clean rooms always smell so clean the house keepers do an amazing service of always bringing you clean towels and taking your trash. Best hotel in Gresham!

The room was overall clean, but there were brown stains on the sheet protector. Obvious damage to walls and doors that were just painted over. The shower handle needed to be manipulated to work. Turn it all the way to one side, let it drip, then turn it to the middle position, pull hard, and then it would work. Had to push hard to shut it off, too. It was non-smoking, but there was obviously drugs being smoked on our floor. It reeked when stepping out from the stairs or the room door. Dryer didn't dry. If this hadn't been the 2nd most expensive stay and the worst, I'd brush it off, but don't want others to be tricked into booking here, especially with kids. On the flip side, both front desk clerks were amazing - especially the one overnight.

The staff are very friendly and informative including the housekeepers. The rooms are very hygiene clean , pet friendly, family friendly, air conditioned rooms , all rooms have microwave and fridge, and with great prices you can’t beat that! Best hotel in Gresham Oregon!

The maid also told me to clean up my own room as I had a service dog and I’m not sure what she expected, but he did not make a mess nor did I even over three days as I’m a clean person, and I had already bagged up my garbage and made sure that everything was good for her as I worked in a hotel for eight years, but the attitude was unnecessary and I didn’t need to be pushed out as I had to go across the street to use the restroom because I wasn’t even given grace shortly after 11 to use the bathroom before I left
