Wyndham Garden Lake Guntersville

We had dinner at JDs which was pretty good and not too expensive. Room was good, beds were comfy. The only issue we had with the room is the toilet running and we shut the door. The bar wasn't very busy but the bartenders were all nice. Enjoyed the pool.

Delicious Breakfast buffet!!

If you’re thinking about staying in this hotel consider other options first. We got to our hotel around 3 in the afternoon parking was a nightmare had to park away from the hotel and hike our luggage to our room because most every car in the parking lot was double parked. We enter our hotel room to find it dirty the floor was disgusting and had to clean it ourselves. Bathroom was in bad shape as well. The next morning when we was at breakfast house keeping came in to clean and left the door slightly open thanks it’s not like our belongings was in there or nothing. Our second night was terrible came back to our room later in the afternoon to the smell of marijuana so powerful I got a contact high and spent my Fourth of July stoned which I guess some people might think that’s a good thing but not with my six month old around. The third day was the best because check out was at 11:00am two stars do not recommend unless you like the feeling you get right before your about to be mugged for your wallet.

Hotel was clean and staff were helpful. Free breakfast was very good. We were on the first floor near the vending machines and for some reason people gathered there to talk but for the most part it was quiet

Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. Large clean pool with lake view was the best.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Full breakfast was excellent. Rooms are dated, but clean. Great pool overlooking the lake. Excellent location. The only negative was the dog barking early in the mornings in the room next door. But they do advertise as pet friendly. If in the area, we will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely everything. It's beautiful and everything is right there ! Technically you don't have to leave the hotel for anything but gas. Nothing

The property was excellent ,we had no issues , the staff was very very nice ans helped every way they could , especially at check in , housekeeping , maintenance were always asking if we needed anything , the morning breakfast was absolutely the best as was the cook and hostess, we couldn't ask for any better stay , we will make Guntersville and Wyndham Garden Gate by the Lake a Eetreat for US !!!

Location Parking

The fact it was right on water as our husbands were bass fishing. Rooms where in good location as requested. Beds very comfortable. Lady at front desk was very nice and helpful the entire time. We had street view rooms so little noisy from traffic. Pool was nice but had a few safety features that needed attention. Several occasions there was very strong Marijuana smell and I have breathing issues.

There was a wonderful breakfast bar each day The staff was exceptional!! I can't say enough about their kindness and helpfulness. Thank you all for making our stay in my hometown wonderful!!

Last night check in with Ms.Jeannie was spectacular. Toilet needs to be adjusted. When you sit or tilt it feels like the tank is going to fly off.

Loud, barking dog, sagging mattress, mild on the ceilings, TV would turn on but but no channels were available so couldn't even attempt to drown out the others noises. Definitely do not recommend staying here

Great hotel. Everything was clean well maintained. Breakfast was great. Only problem is noise from highway in front of hotel. I think if you were in lakeside rooms it would be ok

This is an older property but our room was very clean , comfortable and surprisingly quiet. We had a room facing the water and I thought we would hear the people walking by but we did not. It is a pretty location with docks and gazebos. The bar even provides fish food to through off the bar deck. The breakfast was limited with eggs , bacon , really good cheesy potato casserole but no cereal or bagels and the coffee had to be filled for you. Sane with the juice. The cinnamon rolls were fresh and tasty

Beautiful view of the lake Staff was a bit rude

The property was beautiful and well maintained for it being an older facility. The pool area overlooking the lake was really relaxing. My only complaint was the ice maker on our floor didn’t work, our refrigerator didn’t work and the corners of our room were dirty/ dusty and there were beer bottle caps on the floor next to the bed when we checked in. Over all it was a great place and we would come back. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good. My son and I had a great time while traveling there for baseball.

This property was nice. There is a restaurant and a bar onsite that was convenient. Breakfast was ok. The staff is amazing, everyone is so nice from the front desk to the maintenance. I really enjoyed waking up to the lake.
