Stayed here multiple times. Remolded room.

Our room was nice and clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the property was really cute and well maintained. The staff was really kind and helpful, and the continental breakfast was good with some nice basic options. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning!

A very nice place to stay. The room was clean as well as the premises. One of the best free continental breakfast we’ve had. The walk to the beach takes 15 mins. Once on the coast, walk on the beach and to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. We drove into town and had dinner at Nano’s Ohana Cafe (in the back patio), mixed plate is the best! Strolling Main St after eating was nice, lots of shopping.

Great location and very nice staff. The hotel is definitely getting older and could use a facelift. We had a room with a fireplace and the hotel provided a bag which you lit to make your fire. Could have used some fireplace tools for that moment when the burning pieces fell out of the fireplace. The “breakfast” provided was really not great and the coffee was really sad. Beautiful setting though.

There was always coffee available and a place to play broad games great idea

-Ants in the closet -visible graffiti/markings on the bathroom wall plus peeling paint -Patio screen door separate completely from its track -locked out of our room due to the key card sensor battery failing The pool and hot tub were nice amenities however given everything above, we were very disappointed and don’t plan to return.

Would love to recommend if it wasn't so expensive as a great weekend getaway or a lovely place to stop on a long road trip. budget but quaint. definitely not glamorous and has a lot of character to the location. The hot tub/jacuzzi and the pool are in lovely area that is near the breakfast dining hall. Great location to hang out with the kids to play a board game on vacation or to have some family chats. They provide hot water, tea bags and cold water in the breakfast area so there is a beverage to be had at all times.

    Great! Nice and clean!

The jacuzzi is great. Highly recommended

Nice quiet spot. Breakfast included. The only reason I rated 4/5 stars is because there wasn’t an ac and it was stuffy in the room. Other than that, we had a good stay.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

No AC and it wa over 100 degrees in our room. We had to leave the sliding glass door open all night to be able to breath and sleep. No screen door and very unsafe. The walls are paper thin we could hear snoring from both rooms next to us. This hotel wasn’t much better than camping. I won’t be staying here again.

Room was clean. We were traveling with our dog and so we were in a pet room and it does have a residual pet smell. Also no AC so at night the room got incredibly hot and stuffy. The only option was to open the slider but being on level 1 - it felt a little unnerving to sleep with just the screen. And then in order to feel the breeze, you have to open the curtains which then made it bright early in the morning and you could hear the early golfers out very early. So not a great night of sleep. But otherwise amenities were nice and location very convenient to the beach and golf course.

Great location. Close to beaches, hiking trails and other places. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Very clean and well maintained facility. Good customer service.

Rooms are fine but the entire property desperately needs maintenance.

We booked two rooms. One room smelled like smoke and the other room had animal (dog or cat hairs).

We had a great time and HMB staying at HMB Lodge. It was helpful to have the complementary breakfast in the morning and the warmth from the fire pits to enjoy a view of the golf course in the mornings. We also took advantage of the bicycles and drove down the coast past the Ritz Carlton which was enjoyable

Positeves: Room was clean, bed was nice, breakfast being continental was good and eggs tasted like real eggs. Easy check out and plenty of activities for kids.

    Pet-friendly and very clean

This time was a terrible experience. The wrong room was booked, and they didnt have the room that I initially booked. The check-in staff (the young girl) was not helpful at all, acted like she couldn't be bothered with anything. The young man at least tried to accommodate. The whole reason for the trip was to enjoy the hot tub, and that was down for repair. I feel I paid way too much money for the service and amenities that was offered for that night. I'll be thinking twice before I book a room for half moon again.

Conveniently located and a nice breakfast. Doors to the patio were a little card to open. Furniture a bit dated, but a comfortable and clean place to stay.
