Aristocrat Hotel, BW Signature Collection

I requested daily Housekeeping checked in. Did not receive it once. When I went down to the Front Desk to ask for it, the host at the Desk was on the phone for 15 minutes so finally I just left. The next day I went down to ask for my room to be serviced and gave the request to the person in the electronic kiosk. My room was never serviced the whole time. I was there for four days.

Over a 9 night stay my king suite room was serviced 2 x. I ran out of towels, the toilet ran. the faucet is loose and wobbly. The bed was lumpy. I reported this 3 x and nothing was done. The adjacent restaurant, "Camerons" is terrible. The hotel breakfast was ok. Most of the staff speak no English. The property seems newly redone and it's clean. I'd give it a 2-3 start rating.

The front desk was vacant for 25 minutes about 10pm and she finally arrived from the pub restaurant next door to help me enter my room.

The room was clean, breakfast was okay and parking was convenient. For the price I felt I got a good value for my money.

I loved the room. It was spacious with tall ceilings. The breakfast area and lobby are was also cute and parking was free and convenient. The tv would not move past one channel. We had a plan tk watch a movie and could not get the tv remote to work. There was no option to stream.

Wonderful place great staff comfortable clean room and a little English pub next door if you like a pint and some fish and chips. Couldn't ask for more.

Hotel decor theme was cute The location is away from the main part of town. Which is fine. You’re very close to Highway one. And you can drive to pretty much anything in 10 to 15 minutes. But if you’re hoping for something close to the beach or close to town you’ll be disappointed. The first room I was given the closet door came off in my hands. The front door opening into the closet is poorly designed, and I can see this happening in a lot of rooms. The hotel isn’t very old, but their rooms are already used and abused pretty heavily. The second room I was given the shower floor was already scuffed and stained. The toilet seat cover was scuffed very badly as if somebody had stood on it with heavy work boots. The sink was scratched. The general cleanliness of the room was OK. But in the area of the bed, there was evidence of male bodily fluid all over the wall closest to the bed. Which was really gross. The staff in person was friendly enough and helpful. But the challenge is that they’re not always present .and when they’re not present, it is virtual staff by means of a kiosk. Unfortunately, during my stay the city did an emergency shut off of the water at the hotel site. And nobody thought to inform the virtual staff so they could not answer any of my questions about the water being shut off. And then when it was time to check out, there, wasn’t any in person or virtual staff available. I really don’t understand the point of having a virtual staff if they’re not available during the hours where an in person human is not.

I enjoyed my stay here. The location was close to downtown, but further from the marina area and there was often traffic on hwy 1 which made the trip longer to pillar point. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Close to many hiking areas and beaches. Beds were very comfortable. I felt it was a good value

I loved the location, the breakfast (they included protein), and the complimentary chocolates at the front desk!

Room was clean, staff nice, close driving distance to Main St. We liked that there was a restaurant with many options right next door. Just walked to it.

We love staying here because we can bring our dog. Love the pub next door. The only issue was no one cleaned our room . They said they asked when we checked but they did not. We still enjoyed our stay, we got new towels and it was for one night.
