The Warehouse Hotel at Champion Mill

Modern and fresh Lighting in the room is terrible. The lights in bathroom are frosted so not great for doing make up or shaving. There’s a study nook with zero light, and trying to find somewhere to iron and get ready for a function anywhere in the room is like a cave. Can get lighting if you want to college dorm it up and iron out in the corridor

I have stayed at this hotel twice and enjoyed both stays. The rooms are large and it’s a pretty cool, modern ambiance. Beds are comfortable. Front desk staff is helpful and friendly. One thing to note is that parking is a bit down the street and across it, and around some seemingly deserted buildings. I would feel nervous as a female parking there at night if I were alone. As long as I have a companion I will gladly stay here for visits to Miami.

LOVED this hotel! It's a totally unique property in a renovated paper mill and warehouse, right on the waterfront. The staff was lovely -- very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms are HUGE with super high ceilings, a nice couch, chair, and desk, and a firm but comfortable bed. The property continues on into a convention center, with a restaurant, bar, and entertainment venues. There's a great gym across the street that your stay gains you access to. It's a quick 15-20 minute drive to Oxford and Miami U. We will absolutely stay here again!

Great stay and clean.

Superb

The lighting in the room is terrible. Extremely dim over the sink which makes it difficult to get ready. Big spacious room could use more occasional seating and a table. Too much empty space.

Great place

This was my second time staying there. The property was clean, staff was friendly and close to where I needed to be

Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable but many rooms are interior facing to an unfinished warehouse space, the unfinished spaces should at least be cleaned up for the price.

Bar inside hotel was nice

You can hear your neighbors quite well through the ventilation system. Traffic noise throughout the night.

The room and bathroom were clean! We wished there was some sort of breakfast on Friday AM. Breakfast buffet was only on Sat. and Sun.

A fundamental aspect of a hotel in my view is cleanliness. After a long drive, the last thing I wish to find is a toilet seat with dried urine. Inexcusable. If I hadn’t been in a hurry, I would have asked to cancel. Not what I paid for. Made me very uncomfortable during my one night there. Can’t recommend.

If you want to walk a half mile from your car to the door be overcharged for a concrete cell block room next a disgusting River then this is the place for you

Room was nice, loved the high ceilings. Bed was nice and comfortable. Needed clearer signage, had no idea where the ice machines were. There was no coffee in the rooms. Hallways were not great, kind of beat up and less than clean. Shower/bathroom area was fine, could definitely have been nicer

Hotel was noisy and water pressure was very bad. Air made alot of noise. Bed was very uncomfortable. Need to come up with different parking

This is a review based on being asked to leave and them still keeping the money for my reservation. This place is straight trash

First of all extremely slow check in there wasn't even a line and it took the guy at the counter forever to acknowledge I needed to check in while I was staying in front of him. Secondly my room when I got there smelled of cigarette smoke masked by strong pine smells I was extremely exhausted didn't feel like going back up to the counter to take the time to do a change at that point so I spent the night. Ended up needing to stay another night so I went ahead and booked on Expedia again and was going to take my keys up to the front desk cuz I knew they would not be active anymore and change into a new room before I even left the room a manager knocked on the door and told me that he can smell smoke in the room and my new reservation would be canceled and that I needed to leave. I told him that I am a non-smoker I have never smoked or used any tobacco products in my life. I packed my things and left. Later that day checked my bank statement they charged me for the room that night the night that they canceled and a 265 fee for cleaning the smoke room. I had Expedia contact them about the charges they said they would not be refunding any of the money. This place is a total dump there's loose concrete hanging from the ceiling over your bed the furnishings are junk there's one microwave to heat anything up in the entire hotel. I'll never stay on this property again I recommend you don't either cuz it's trash. Hence the lower rate of any place else around. Stay at your own risk.

If you like cold cement floors and cheap bathrooms

The room was clean. Night staff was not very friendly. Very busy talking to someone in their earpiece. Felt that I was bothering them.Morning and check in staff were great.
