The front desk person was awesome

Area wasn’t the best. The room was clean-ish, and I liked that the blankets were thick. Bath tub/shower didn’t seem anything more than wiped down. Rugs need to be shampooed, my feet were black after walking around for a little bit without socks on. Had to wash my feet before I got in bed.

The property is looking "tired". Parking lot needs a little help, lobby area is dark, walls and doorframes have enough scratches that ownership is essentially telling customers "we don't care" and the hallway carpets are dirty and frayed. They serve breakfast daily, which is part of the package we were paying for, but on this morning management decided they weren't going to serve it. Frustrating. In a positive I will say our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. For us we will be coming back to the Hammond area many times over the next couple years but with the number of hotel properties to choose from in the area we won't be picking this property again. The total experience was disappointing and definitely didn't reflect the Internet rating.

This place is old and not well maintained. Tubs and toilet rusted. No money invested in up keep. Don’t suggest staying here!

It’s a good place to spent a night when y simply need to sleep somewhere and want a clean nice room with basic amenities.

Hotel was old. Carpets in hallways not vacuumed. Room smelled musty, water left in tub. Pool area not kept up. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good

Our room was nice. The trim around the doors in the hall needs to be repainted. Guess the guest bang the door frames when using the carts.

It was an okay stay for a night or two or sleep. We had a few issues but nothing that made it unbearable. It was for sure an older hotel that needs some TLC but also wasn’t terrible. The TV in the room was broke with a black line down one side, the light in the bathroom flickered, the toilet wasn’t stable, and he coffee machine at breakfast was not working. Overall it was just okay, able to sleep, shower and be comfortable for a night.

Location, price and accommodations Parking was very cramped

Great location close to restaurants and shopping but a note was left in room that because of short staffing rooms were clean by request, the washer and dryer were broken and we informed the staff. The staff stated they would inform maintenance but the problem was never resolved.
