Sleep Inn & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey North

A couple negatives on arrival… the heat was on in the room (it was 95°+ outside that day) and the refrigerator had been turned off and water from the freezer thaw was draining onto the floor. Other than these two things, which I was able to correct myself, it was a good stay. The room was otherwise clean and spacious. The breakfast was ok. Overall a good value for the price.

It was rather warm in the breakfast area. We don't know if the AC was out or if it was because of the equipment being used for breakfast.

Stayed here for three nights when a major storm took out the power to my house. The staff was exceptionally helpful in making us feel at home. When I needed to extend my stay by one night, the manager somehow got me a reservation even though the hotel was completely booked. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bed especially. Great water pressure in the shower with plenty of clean towels and toiletries. The complementary breakfast was very nice with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, and cold cereal. I highly recommend this property.

Swimming pool was not heated. It is a salt water pool. The swimming pool was one of the reasons we chose the hotel and it was a huge disappointment

The staff were very pleasant & helpful with directions to the Hersheypark stadium. The room was comfortable and clean. There was free parking and a big lot. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a king room with lots of space. The bathroom had all the essential amenities. Breakfast was available and many people seemed to be taking advantage of it. Check in and out was quick and easy.

Only stayed for a night so did not use the gym or the pool. Staff was friendly. Carpet in the hallways were stained and could have definitely used a cleaning. I I oiled go back. Pretty close to Hershey.

Beds weren’t terrible for a hotel. Convenient to attractions nearby. One of the laundry machines was broken so it took longer for me to do my laundry.

Hotel is very basic but has everything needed for those attending a concert at Hershey. It is conveniently located, staff are very pleasant and the rooms are a great size. Some general maintenance could improve but otherwise a nice place.

Staff was friendly and professional. Room and facility super clean. Breakfast was great. Convenient location. Will recommend and stay again for a short stay.

The hotel staff were friendly; however, that was the only good thing about this hotel. I read the reviews before booking because I really just care about the cleanliness of a hotel. This hotel smelled awful thought out the entire building. It was way more outdated than then pictures on the website. The room keys didn’t work, which I heard several other guest say too. The beds were made, but dirty when we arrived. We had to ask them to change the bedding. Everything had stains and grime on it: carpet, chairs, refrigerator, shower…. The shower didn’t work right, as the water continued to pour out of the faucet while the shower head was on, causing low shower pressure. They did come in to make our beds the second day while we were gone, but also took our towels and didn’t leave clean one, so we had to ask for those too. The breakfast was very limited, so I didn’t actually even eat anything, but my husband had scrambled eggs and sausage, which were about the only hot options both days other than waffles. One of the staff members pushed the trash down into the can with her hand and then refilled the orange juice without washing her hands. I was thoroughly disgusted and will never stay here again. No one was at the desk when we left, so I couldn’t tell them about our stay in person.

Horrible hotel. It was dated and the room was not clean. The keys did not work for us as well as other residents. Breakfast was horrible and cold. I would completely stay away from this hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was ok but had dead ants all over the window, a/c unit and floor. Fitness room smelled so bad you couldn't go into it. Bathrooms need updated

The room was a good size, but the other guests were horrible with one family allowing their children to yell and run up and down the hallways late into the night. When you were in the hallways, you could hear conversations from other rooms and you could easily hear every footstep of the guests on the floor above. The hotel would have been much higher rated if it were not for the thin walls and other guests. Hotel front desk employees were made aware on more than one occasion and by other guests as well of the issues with the children in the hallway. They were unable to resolve the issue with the other guests.

Dirty room was broke down needs to be updated

good location easy on off access to I 81 and away from the Harrisburg congestion. A good stop for a good nights rest on the go.
