Super 8 by Wyndham Harrisburg Hershey West

AC and frigde not working, wifi was too slow and poor connectivity. When we asked to change the room, the fronk desk showed no apologies for providing substandard amenities. Breakfast was atrocious with stale bread, muffin and bagels. On night of July 4th there was a power outage due to a thunderstorm. The hotel had no back up inverter. We stayed in sweltering heat without AC for 8 hours till we decided it was unbearable and so we checked out 4 hours earlier than check out time. Not worth spending even a dollar at this hotel!

Fair for a place to sleep. Breakfast was a yogurt and a muffin or toast.

The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was cold. The rooms were clean but dated which made them feel less so. We checked in around 10:30 pm and were made to feel like an inconvenience. The breakfast had cereal, milk, muffins, bread, and bananas but the juice machine was turned off and there were several items such as hot tea and oatmeal packets that would require hot water with no water in sight. We wanted a place to sleep and that is exactly what we got.

Gross, scary, mildew musty smell, felt unsafe, left early because we felt disgusting

Front desk person has bad experience very disappointing customer service he was arrogant even not smiling at the desk when we arrived for check in.

On letting the manager know, he simply declined housekeeping, stating that the room will be cleaned next morning.

The staff were very nice and very good to us. The coffee and basic breakfast were fine and sufficient. There were some things outside the hotel and some things inside that needed attention housekeeping, running the sweeper the steps to the second floor. The key cards didn’t always work the bathtub was a little dangerous with no with no nonslip strips or hand bars or anything to get in or get out easily. The beds were very high and hard to get into but comfortable enough. It was hard to open and close the drapes there were no tissues available. The location was fairly convenient to restaurants and the main highways and gasoline stations, etc..

The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

As a business contractor for Norfolk Southern Railway. I travel 90% of the year. This is a great property, parking is easy, the bed(s) are very comfortable, rooms clean, a small fridge is in the room. No microwaves. However, there are plenty of good places to go eat nearby [drive to]. The Satellite TV is spotty, it goes in and out of service. Their internet connection is solid! No problems there.

Didn’t stay due to the smell beds were sickening stained and dirty low lights don’t stay here at all costs pay a little more and get something better

The rooms needs to be checked and clean. My bath tub was flooded

Cons: No protein options for breakfast, and the only microwave is one for common use in front hall. WiFi sometimes cut in and out. Also, no elevator to second floor. However, on balance, I would stay there again.

Staff was so cheerful and friendly! Breakfast options were adaquate (cereal, toast with butter/jam, juice, oatmeal, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, muffins, bananas). Beds were soft, rooms were clean, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. I'd stay again!
