This is a drive up-to-the-door, walk up the stairs kind of motel, which caught me by surprise on booking. We were just stopping over, breaking up a drive that took two days. While I would never knowingly choose and outside door motel, the room was comfortable, as was the bed. An even bigger surprise was the breakfast, which was better even than some bigger brand hotels.

As always the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Better than the last two places on this trip so the bar was Pretty low!Staff was polite and super friendly.

The bed was actually very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised. It is a medium firm bed. The room was sufficient for everything else. It is old but it worked for what we needed. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating.

Great clean nice all around good trip

Water running in window. Had to be caught by a bucket. Staff offered room change, but pouring rain so we would have been soaked changing rooms. Bathroom drain broke and tub wouldnt drain. Breakfast was nice and coffee good. But this leak was not a new situation. It is obviously an on going problem as area around window deteriorated. We will not stay again

The check in was seamless and perfect. Loki checked us in and his customer service was outstanding. The king size bed was super comfortable. We had two small dogs with us and the area for them was clean and grassy. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. Very clean and the food was wonderful. All in all the one night stay we spent was 5 stars. In fact we are booking our return from OKC to Denver at Baymont again.

Dirty! Even switched rooms and it was worse.

We had a great stay in Hays. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a little bit of everything. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Hays.

The room was clean. Great breakfast.

The light above the sink was constantly flashing like a strobe light. Shortly after we turned it on, one of the bulbs burnt out completely. The continuous flashing was giving both of us a headache so we just left if off, which meant the mirror above the sink was useless. We tried using the only other mirror in the room, a wall mounted mirror on the right of the television set, but the light by it was burnt out as well. This meant the entire half of the room was dark. The outlet by the sink didn't work so we couldn't use the hair dryer either. The bed only had one nightstand---one person had no nightstand at all. The only nightstand in the room was placed sideways due to the size of the room and so the drawer wouldn't open and couldn't be used. Carpet was dingy and had some stains by the door. The rooms opened to the outside, like an old hotel, instead of into a hallway which made us feel unsafe. There was no elevator and the handrail on the stairway was dirty and sticky. Breakfast offerings (pastries) were stale. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures on their webpage. Overall very disappointing. We will NEVER stay here and actually this makes us question whether we will ever stay at a Wyndham property again.

The room was clean, there was only one staff member that we saw, Parking was OK, did not check out the breakfast.

Staff was helpful, breakfast was good (we had biscuits & gravy and a banana). However, we found large amounts of debris floating in the jetted tub when we filled it before getting in (some of which appeared to be dead skin). So we ended up not using the jetted tub, this was unfortunate because it was the main reason we booked this room.
