The room was nice, cool, and clean with plenty of parking and the woman that checked us in was great. They also had plenty of snacks and drinks on the arm.

I was amazingly surprised of the cleanliness of the room. So grateful, much cleaner than most high end hotels I have stayed at. Location is great, 2 miles from beach access. My complaints( which is a strong word for not strong complaints). No elevator. I don’t mind stairs but my husband’s knees don’t. No coffee pot in the room but a bigger refrigerator. The bathroom was extremely clean yet small for my tall wide shouldered husband

Room was clean. Needs slight repairs. No pool. The internet didn’t work at all, even after calling about it. Was told I would get a king bed and got a queen bed. Rude about everything. One staff member was nice and tried helping out. They did have complimentary snacks in the main office and did give us 50$ cash back

Staff was super friendly and efficient during check in and offered snacks which was not expected. They had water, coffee, muffins and other stuff. Then the room was great. Very clean and all the usual stuff plus extras like hand sanitizer, Note pads near the phone, plenty of supplies and everything I needed and more. I will stay here again.

So thoughtful! A very no frills stay, which I found very fitting for the name. Lovely shower essentials provided (individual dove mini bars, dove shampoo, personal body washes with safety seals). The room smelled perfectly clean upon opening the door, and this was achieved without any overwhelming scents of cleaning products. I didn't use the TV but a nice sized one was provided along with channel names and numbers. They had a full sized dehumidifier running in the room (which was so important for the summertime)! Great tile flooring (non slip too), none of the dirty carpet that is so common in similar places. Older style of bathtub/shower combo was impressively clean, with not a speck of discoloration on the tiles or grout. A rarity! Thoughtful addition of full roll of paper towels, large hand sanitizer, large drying rack, as well as an ironing board and iron. It felt very intentional and as if great care were put into anticipating guests' every need. The very kind owner greeted me by name when I walked in, and they went out of their way to ensure a room-floor accommodation was available for our stay (one guest uses a cane). Not the biggest deal in the world but I wish the bedspread were a bit thicker. My friend found the bedsheet to be a bit scratchy (may have been due to skin sensitivity). We also had to request additional towels because upon inspection, every towel (all of which were bright white and smelled clean) originally supplied in the room had at least one hair tangled into the threading. Very minor: The bathroom area smelled a bit odd when we first opened the door, but the smell quickly dissipated upon leaving it open. The hair dryer, an older model which is mounted to the wall and worked well, had some suspicious yellow stains dotted on it. May have been due to age, though the same yellow drops were present on the wall right below it. Likely due to an unruly patron over anything else.

The room was clean, plenty off snacks and breakfast muffins were amazing! Staff very friendly! Hair dryer was burnt out they took note but was hoping to have been offered an alternative. Overall definitely would recommend!

Reception was helpful and easy to talk to when we arrived (which was late at night, so that was nice). They also had a variety of pakaged baked goods, water bottles, and a coffee bar available. Our room was nicely cleaned and tidy when we arrived. The mirror had some stains from aging and some of the furniture also had shown its age with small fabric cracks or creaking when you sit, but still very usable and very enjoyable! Did not bother us, but something to keep in mind if it does bother you. Queen bed was comfortable and the pillows were very fluffy. There were magnetic posters for the doors for do not disturb or please clean the room, which I always appreciate having. Large AC unit and Air purifier which was also very appreciated. Room had a one toilet bathroom with a shower/bath (with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, handwash, soap bar, and hair dryer included). Shower worked well, the water got warm fast and stayed warm the whole time. A plenty fine place to stay. Surrounded by fast food places too! I wouldn't count on it being the centerpiece of your trip, but it's a good place to start your day and a great place to lay your head soundly. Especially for the prices in the area. If I find my way to Hilton Head again, I certainly wouldn't mind staying again!

This was a simple stay but SO nice. I had everything I needed. There was treats and water you can get 24/7 where you check in. The rooms had little things you don’t think about that made it very convenient. Like even pump soap at the sink. And a good sized refrigerator ! Everything felt clean. And room was nice and cold. Will def return. All you need for a little beach getaway.

Room was not well sealed and required a constantly running dehumidifier to remain usable. The bathroom and towels were perfumed with a hanging lavender potpourri so they all had that smell. The reason was clear when I removed it: the excessive moisture in the room caused the bathroom to smell musty.

This appears to be a former motel that is being transformed into suites. The room appears to have been two motel rooms. The door previously used for adjourning rooms has been replaced by french doors. One bathroom was replaced with a kitchen. However, there weren't any pots and pans, dishes, or utensils yet. There was a microwave that could be used. One bedroom had 2 queen beds and the other had a queen bed and a couch. The pool was closed. The location that looked like it was used for checking in and out was closed. I was instructed to check in at a specific room. The staff offered refreshments at no cost that included pastries, doughnuts, candy bars, and beverages. When I asked about the check out time, I was told to stay as long as I liked. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the cost was one of the least expensive on the island.

Club Seats Bar & Grill really close and good food, made it easy to grab a bite. This was a great start to our vacation! Thanks!!

This was a great hotel! The room was super clean, well stocked, the bed and the bedding were comfy, they even had top notch toilet paper! The AC worked very well, and they had a dehumidifier in the room, too. The only downside was that the pool was not filled and I did not ask when or if it would be back in commission. There were 24/7 complimentary waters and snacks in the office. This was our first visit to HHI, and we decided we are not HHI people, but the hotel was great, so I hope someone else can take advantage of this gem!

Great value for the money. I had to stay here on July 4 when my flight was canceled. Not the fanciest spot, but if you need a place to stay without spending a fortune, this is your spot. Best of all, if you check out by 7am, they give you $50 cash!
