Yes, the parking lot is a bit beat up, yes there is a train track 100 yards away that runs throughout the night, but welcome to Holbrook. This is a no frills place, you get what you pay for. I would stay here again if I was passing through for the night.

There were some problems with the room, but staff was quick to resolve. The coffee had leftover coffee and the bath towels were very old and one had a hole in it. Both were replaced quickly. The bed was not the most comfortable although it was large. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. Parking was right in front of room so covenient. Not ideal for large trucks as it is narrow.

The room was incredibly clean and comfortable and the staff was great but the outside is very run down and Holbrook was not quite what we imagined it would be. The Natl Park was our main reason for making it a stop in our route and it did not disappoint.

This Route 66 motel. Is exactly what you'd expect from this iconic type of room. Very spacious including a kitchen. Parking directly in front of the room is very convenient. Its close to attractions, The Painted Desert and the Petrified forest. A great dog park is close by.

Room wasn't bad, and the price was great! Staff was very nice and very helpful. Parking was a bit rough. It is side slotted, and the parking is extremely tight between the 2 buildings. It is one way in, one way out, no backing in. If a lot of large trucks are parked, such as was my experience, the narrow driveway behind them becomes a situation where you have to reverse out into the road where you pulled in from. I have a tiny car. So there's that.

Very old and patched together. Bed was good

Historic Route 66 property. Trains running all the time.

This motel is very old. BUT! It was very clean and the furnishings were actually pretty nice. The beds were comfortable. For the money, it’s a nice deal. Well, it is right next to the train tracks and an astonishing number of trains went by sounding their horns. The A/C unit kid of muffled the noise. We had no trouble sleeping.

This was a pure quirky little route 66 motor Inn hotel like I remember from childhood. It was exceptionally clean, which I appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. I was treated well by the staff. Checkin and checkout was very easy. It was a perfect stop over on my road trip. There is nothing I didn’t like. My only caveat to that would be someone who expects a high-end hotel is not gonna be happy. It is kitchy with tons of old-school personality. Stay here for fun not for glamour.

It is clear that the grounds were recently refurbished. The floors in the room were uneven and covered with a linoleum so you can feel the unevenness in the floors when you walk. The parking lot is a bit of a mess as the pavement is chewed up. Signs are posted CLEARLY stating that it is a one-way path and there is diagonal parking and it CLEARLY states “NO backing in” for specific safety reasons as the manager emphasized. But just as she was reinforcing what the signs clearly said, some woman decided to turn around and back in to a space, and then immediately pull out of the parking lot in the wrong direction. One thing that was not mentioned, is that there is a freight train that runs directly past the motel every 20-30 minutes – ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT. So if you are not used to the sound of VERY LOUD TRAIN WHISTLE (Think My Cousin Vinny), then you are in for a rough night.

Our room was so cute! Loved the 60's vibe with the grill and seating area in the courtyard Can't think of a thing

Clean bedding. Hot shower. Room was cool. Enough space in room to spread luggage. Parking right outside hotel door. It is 20 miles away from Painted Desert/ Petrified Forest. Go in one park, come out the other. Brad’s Desert Inn a relic of Route 66 if one wants to do this National Park and this Americana.

From the outside looking in, the motel seems run down. But the beds were comfortable, coffee was available in the room, Sara at the front desk was helpful. Not a perfect place, but I’d stay there again if in Holbrook.

Very fun and comfortable motel. Decorated with Route 66 memorabilia, the room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a small table and two chairs. Even though we were on the end next to the road, the room was very quiet. The bathroom was a little small.
-
Cute decor, comfortable bed, location to the sights I wanted to see. Train track is a block away and trains are frequent and loud! Also, parking lot is a little narrow and with the larger vehicles parked it was a challenge to get through.

I liked the space had a lot of room The housekeeper walked in without knocking on the first day and the continued to stand there for about 5 mins before leaving.
