Hollywood Historic Hotel

Convenient location for our event we attended! Older but cool hotel. They have onsite parking that is reasonably priced. Nice restaurant and bar with happy hour. Little bakery on the corner has killer carrot cake. Only complaint is that the bed was a little outdated and uncomfortable.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! It was clean and quiet. The room I was in had a mini fridge, ironing board/iron, nice sized closet, TV.

Room smelled somewhat musty. There’s thick carpet which makes it easier for bacteria to grow. Kind of grossed me out. And the bathtub floor was stained-black.

Do not stay here. This is the first time I’ve been truly steered wrong by a decent Expedia/Hotels rating. The neighborhood was sketchy. The room was incredibly worn out with tears and stains in the carpet. The a/c was a small window unit like you would see in a house and the room was 85 degrees when I entered. I couldn’t get a refund, but I sucked up the money and went to a different hotel - it was too dirty to want to spend the night.

This is a lovely property located centrally in Hollywood. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Would stay here again!

It was good but I’d wish there were toothbrushes and the parking situation is a bit tight a better system would be wonderful overall nice experience

This is my go to hotel whenever I’m in town. Affordable pricing, for the area, to have such a comfortable and safe place to stay. Building is old and has a really cool nostalgic vibe which I dig.

Clean room and friendly staff. Bathroom was extremely small but the room itself, with a single King bed, was a good size.

Bar next to the hotel Was tired, you had to pay for parking but there is free parking on the street so I just parked there

Good location the neighborhood is ok right by Raleigh and Paramount studios. The air conditioning in the room was super noisy and very smelly. The bathroom was very small and crowded, parking is 18usd regardless if you leave un the middle of the night (midnight in our case) you must pay a full day anyway. They did not come to clean our room nor to provide other water bottles and when we reported this to the receptionist he said he had no way to give us water (we were ok with no room cleaning for our last day as we were leaving in the middle of the night). Not very friendly or helpful receptionist throughout our stay.
