Hyde Beach House

I had such a wonderful experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was taken care of. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The balcony view was absolutely immaculate. Defiantly one of my favorite parts of the stay! I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, and comfortable hotel with excellent service.

Great clean property and friendly staff

Great room, incredible view, nice pool and gym . But the A/C didn't work at all.

After checking in on August 6, I returned with my service dog secured in a backpack and was stopped and prevented from returning to my room because of her. I ultimately had to make other arrangements for her that night. The next day, I saw larger dogs openly walking through the property and even dog treats at the front desk. Although I had been told the property was “pet free,” I was then required to obtain vaccination records from my veterinarian before being allowed to stay with my service animal. At 1:55 a.m. on August 8, the front desk called claiming my dog had been making noise for hours and told me to rush back. I left my dinner and returned, only to discover the barking/yelping dog was across the hall. Staff admitted no one had come upstairs to verify the complaint before calling me. Later, security publicly approached me at the pool and told me my “pet” was not allowed, even though she was secured in a backpack. I was embarrassed and escorted away before staff later acknowledged that my service animal WAS permitted in the pool area. I repeatedly asked to speak with a manager and was not allowed to do so. What should have been a relaxing birthday stay became stressful, humiliating, and disruptive. Staff desperately need proper service-animal training.

The staff was great, the room had a great view of the ocean, clean and full of everything thing you need. Resort fee of 35.00 plus 13% tax was a little too much. There are two pools, one facing the driveway and one on the 6th floor that did not have enough lounge chairs with umbrellas. For the amount of the resort fee (48.00 with tax a day) there should be some formal dining options on the property. The cost for parking (45.00 a day with tax) was also too much. The apartment however was beautiful.

The Hyde needs improvement! Ive stayed there multiple times and it has gotten worse over the years. Won’t be staying there anytime soon

Beautiful view, we were on the 38th floor. It was a huge 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean and had a full kitchen. It was amazing. The only con was the elevators were not always available quickly, but it really is worth staying at.

Everything was fine, except that the hotel charged 200 dollars of resort fee when Expedia said they only charged 39 per night, and I only stayed 2 nights!

Our suite was so spacious and very modern. The balcony was the entire length of our three room suite. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, wine glasses, pint glasses, cutlery, and a pot and pan. We stocked our kitchen well and saved a ton making our own breakfast and lunch. It was somewhat difficult getting toilet paper and they would only give use one roll a day per bathroom… when you have seven people in your suite that is a dicey game and someone will get stuck with no TP. Aside from that, the hotel was only .25 of a mile from the Diplomat where our dance convention was taking place and it was a very easy 6-8 minute walk. My older kids said the gym was amazing and even better than the one at the Diplomat. The boys also enjoyed the indoor basketball court! They provide everything you need. We could have used the volleyball court across the street at Lyfe, but we were too busy. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! It was a wonderful 7 night stay at Hyde Beach!

But overall , the location was beautiful.

When we questioned the charge, the staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no interest in resolving the issue. Customer service was terrible from start to finish. There are plenty of places in the area that are more honest and transparent with their pricing. I would not recommend this property to anyone and would never stay here again.
