Room was clean and quiet. Needs some minor TLC. It was lovely to discover a washer & dryer in the room. Didn't really use the amenities (pool) as we were too busy doing other things. Lovely resort.

We booked a few tours through the concierge and the woman told us that if we sat through the time share spiel we could get an additional percentage off the tours. We did the spiel and told the woman we will be saying no to the time share offer and wanted to be upfront with her ao we did not waste her time. She had us go through the entire spiel which was fine, but the when we told her we were not going to buy in she got so mad she stormed out of her office and said we had to sit there for another 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes another person came in to try to get us to buy as well, we told her no and she said ok but we had to wait for her boss to sign us out, then another woman came in and gave us the same spiel, we again said no and through all this we watched other guests leaving at least e0 minutes before us. Leila in the timeshare sales is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENED. We were told the time share spiel would be 1 hour long since we were staying in the hotel area they show guests but ended up being 3 hours and some change.

Very nice but a long walk to the rest of the amenities

We had a wonderful stay at the Geabd Waikikian. It’s been 15 years since our first stay, and the facility looks exactly like it did is 2011. We had great interaction with several members of the staff. Shizyu was so wonderful when we arrived at check-in, so much I had to say Aloha to her at our checkout. Mose was great at the valet area, his local tips were greatly appreciated. All in all we loved our stay here at the HHV and the Grand Waikikian.

We are very comfortable during our stay and everything we need is only 1 text away. Will be staying here next time we visit Oahu.

First time in Hawaii. Hotel was great. Very roomy, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The fact that it had a kitchen was great. Close to everything shopping centers walking distance. Driving distance for the north shore and east shore (30-45 minutes).

This was my first time going to Hawaii. The resort didn’t disappoint. It had plenty of things to do. The view was beautiful. The ocean was right outside the resort got to do several sunsets playing in the pools and just have an enjoyable family vacation. We will definitely be staying here again.

Disappointing that the hot tubs closed at 6:30

We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Condo. The first room they put us in was on the 32nd floor with a view of the top side of a neighboring condo. It was a small 2nd bedroom with an old shower, and the floor was very uneven. The carpets were heavily soiled in that room. We had to stay in the room one night as there were no other rooms available. We were moved on the second day. The staff did accommodate our request for a room change, but it felt like they were very annoyed. They did try to tell me this was a nice unit and that the higher-floor view was a benefit, but we stayed before and knew this room was subpar. The second room was great. Nice floors, walk-in showers, a balcony off the second bedroom, and one off the living room. We really enjoyed this unit with a well-supplied kitchen and laundry. The building is a little far from valet parking, the shops, restaurants, and most of the pools, so plan on walking quite a bit. We had a 4-year-old and a disabled adult with us, so we carried a lot of items with us. It's also important to note it is not quiet at night. There is a lot of nightlife with people walking on the street below and yelling, and a lot of sirens. We did enjoy people watching. The staff were very helpful and friendly (other than the initial room change request), we greatly appreciated their kindness and the way we were treated everywhere we went on the property. It's a good stay for most families. If you're bougie probably go to AuLani or Four Seasons.

Oh Gosh, WASTED OUR MONEY. We were so disappointed with this "RESORT" stay. Not what we had expceted based on our past travels to both resorts and simple motels. The concierge at this place s anything but a concierge. A concierge is suppose to help you enjoy your stay and assist you with planning your entertainment and adventures. C'Mon guys, they are time share salespeople and unless you take their tour our buy a timeshare they are definatly not there to help make your stay fun, easy and enjoyable. In fact, they were quite rude when trying to ask for suggestions or directions. We stayed here for the pool and the waterslides for the kids. However, by the time you get back from doing "island things" it will be closed... every night. Hot tubs also close early. If we wanted to stay at a motel we would have booked a motel. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE.
