Budget Inn Horseheads

I stayed at this hotel because there was no availability elsewhere and I was going by their reviews which is a joke now that I was there to see for myself. You cannot always go by hotel reviews. All other hotels were booked for the weekend from July 3-5. I called the front office to see if they had a room in the front instead of the back of the hotel because the person staying next to my room was smoking drugs in his car. I did not feel safe at this hotel. The phone in the room was dirty and did not work at all. The refrigerator did not look clean and I did not use it. I voiced that to the front desk and he said for me to leave if I didn’t like it there and that they did not have another room I could go to. If I had somewhere else to go I would have gone. I will never go back to this hotel and I advise anyone else not to go there either. This place is for riff raff. Horrible experience.

It was a very comfortable room and had everything we needed. The staff was super kind and helpful. The biggest problem was the internet, which was weak and sometimes non-existent.

Hotel was clean and easy 2 locate..

Very old and not very clean, in my honest opinion. Did not look anything like the pics online.

Was never told about vending machines or if had or if had ice for the ice buckets in the room

Immaculate property inside and out! Very quiet, and convenient to highway and town. This will be our go-to from now on.

The floor in the room was so dirty that my feet were black after walking around with bare feet. Next day I bought slippers to wear in the room, they quickly became sticky, hair and dust stuck to them and I threw them out after staying here. The back of the door was covered in greasy fingerprints and there was what looked like snot smeared on the wall next to the lamp. We only had room service on 2 of our 6 days (and we did not use the do not disturb sign). Also there was only 1 regular coffee pouch and 1 decaf, so only 1 person could have a coffee in the morning. At least it was quiet despite being just off the highway.

the place is good for a couple of nights and you’re not expecting much from the place at a decent rate… it’s a typical motel on the side of the road…. could have been a bit cleaner but it wasn’t bad…..

The helpful staff willing to accommodate. The peacefulness of the area.

This is the first time we stayed at this motel. It was a last-minute decision. Believe me, years ago this place used to look like you were going to get murdered in it… But it was great. The rooms are updated. The bed was very comfortable. The AC worked. The bathrooms were extremely clean. I would definitely stay there again. I believe my rate was about $70 for the night.
