FYI, should anyone see a negative review from me about this property it was an error. The negative review was only meant to apply to the mariner motel in Galveston Texas. Not to this property America’s best Inn on Highway 249.

There were roaches in our room. We killed 3. I did not mention anything to staff, as sometimes there is not point with hotels like this. It was a last minute trip and I know I won't book this location again.

Room was clean, motif was colorful.

Nothing There were cockroaches in the room. Food and other particles in between mattresses and it smelled like marijuana smoke. We didn’t stay and we were denied help getting a refund.

Property was clean upon arrival.Staff was ok.It was conveniently located close to the highway access and restaurants. No housekeeping because the signs are ignored or not understood .People sitting on the stairs and outside of rooms. Continental breakfast was a joke.I saw people below me rolling? marijuana in the parking lot. I smelled cigarettes smoke coming through the vents.I called to inform the office and was told no one was smoking and I know someone was.

Everything was great but one thing is can you fix the water pressure in the shower in room 206. Everything else was amazing ?

One of the gentlemen didn’t even understand or really knew how to speak English so when you talk to him, you couldn’t understand and he couldn’t understand you double check your sheets before you get in the bed because mine had old blood stains and old urine stains on them

Clean Comfortable Easy check in Has a fridge if free breakfast is your thing just bring your own. I always stay here and it is less than 10 years old and very well kept
