Candlewood Suites Houston I-10 East by IHG

The Hotel was very nice and clean, but the only problem that I had once I arrived my very first night there was from one of their employees named "LOUIS" that worked in the front desk, his customer service is very horrible and I wouldn't recommend any service EVER again from this guy at all and I also reported it during and after my stay. The rest of the staff was very comforting and respectful. BUT NEVER AGAIN!

Room was clean and spacious. Full kitchen with will all the essentials you will need.

This was a good spot to go to. Just 15 mins outside of Houston and the hotel staff were very helpful!

Quiet hotel with friendly staff. Only issues was in my room the shower did not get hot enough and the TV looked as if the screen was going out. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

Just used this hotel to sleep

Told front desk the first morning of our stay that there was no hot water and we had to take cold showers, they said they would look into it. No sorry. The next morning, cold showers again. I mentioned it upon checkout and the same rep stated the repairman said there was no problem. I told him that they should go take a cold shower then. The guy said oh ok. No personality, no I’m sorry, no discount, NOTHING. I would suggest that Expedia does not put them as a potential place to stay anymore,

It should clearly state that there will be a $100 incidental charge to your credit card the morning of your stay-prior to check in. Then they will have the charge pending until whenever they get around to releasing it because it’s been 12 days and there is still that hold on my account. Seriously! My stay was two night yet the hold on my card is now six times longer than my actual stay. I now know how the people in the J G Wentworth commercials feel…”It’s my money…and I want it now!”

Jay at the front desk was amazing very helpful. Very knowledgeable. The surprise came when I was charged $100 the morning of my stay ( before I even checked in) for “incidentals”. I don’t recall seeing that mentioned anywhere when I booked. Now, nine days later that charge is still pending on my account. Not cool.

My wife and I was BOTH impressed with EVERYTHING about the room we had! It was very clean and spacious. We received far more than what we imagined! After our last experience, THIS place will be the ONLY for me. The staff was very polite and helpful so check in and out was quick and easy.
