Basic but ok room has a smell

The staff was great, but that’s the only good thing I have to say. When we came in, the whole place had an eye-burning level of cleaning chemical smell. The room wasn’t much better. Despite this, the room didn’t feel clean at all. White Spots on the floor, bathroom looked grungy and dusty. In the morning, the chemical smell was replaced with a 3/10 marijuana smell. Fitness center and meeting rooms boarded up. Breakfast would have been pitiful if not for the golden malted waffle station. The pool was closed not by the hotel but bc of a city of Houston health code violation. They also didn’t have a crib even though it said they would on hotels.com. This place gave me depression. I felt like I hit rock bottom, even though all I did was bring my family to stay here.

There was no hot water in the shower. The hotel needs some attention. Little run down and just not clean feeling. The morning front desk attendant was amazing and worked extremely hard. The attendant to check me in Friday night spoke very little and was not welcoming.

I didn’t even complete my 2 day stay. The bathroom commode was so low that i had a hard time squatting on it. The TV didn’t work that we had to call them everytime we wanted to use the TV. It was a frustrating and so disappointing stay. I dont think i will ever come back.

Our first room had a strong mildew smell, but they kindly moved us to another room that was much better. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was very minimal and not always well stocked. It was a decent place for the money and the clerks were kind and accommodating.

The location was excellent, just minutes away from where we had to go, breakfast was ok, room was also ok just had a humid smell but we weren’t there during the day

Location was grate. Location was great, but overwhelming chemical odor The location of this hotel is excellent, and the towels were clean. However, the property is khá old and needs updating. My biggest issue was an extremely strong, overpowering chlorine smell throughout the room. It was so severe that my eyes were literally burning and watering. I have a chlorine allergy, which made it virtually impossible to sleep through the night. While I appreciate the effort to maintain cleanliness, the overwhelming chemical smell was unacceptable. I am really not sure if I would stay here again.

Property is outdated, and rooms had alot of marks on walls and doors. Tv was difficult to access. Rooms smelled dingy. Hotel didn't even offer a continental breakfast. It felt like a motel.

The hotel had a nice atmosphere, and the room was well maintained. The bed was comfortable, and the staff made us feel welcome. The location was also convenient for getting around Houston.

Exceptional

Clean rooms, great air conditioners and a friendly staff.

The room was very humid. Paperwork for work was damp all day every day. Clothes smelt musty from being in the room.We checked out a week early.

Very nice breakfast. We loved it. One of the housekeepers smelled strongly of marijuana and the smell lingered in our hotel room for hours.

I liked the friendly staff especially when I first walked in. Very inviting and professional... I did not like the pool was not open, due to repairs, and the schedule. If I had known this I would have never booked this place to stay. I and my grandchildren were looking forward to swimming after traveling there. Get the pool fixed and change that schedule for the guest.....

Not much. It was clean. The bed was comfortable The shower, walls, ceiling, pool, and elevator all needed repairs

Nice! Staff was very pleasant, check in ans out was simple. Conplimentary breakfast was good! Highly recommend.
