Felt very safe and it was extremely well maintained.

Location is excellent. Direct and convenient access to room from lobby. Engaged and supportive staff. Thin walls, inconvenient and haphazard room arrangement, uncomfortable and unfortunately placed bed, flimsy bathroom construction

There was nothing to like This is not a 4* property. No facilities/amenities. Paid upfront; non refundable, unchangeable. Locked in.

Everything ! Would just have liked some milk for English tea

Friendly staff at checkin, nice kitchen facility, towel warmer, modern furnishings and fun design elements. I felt secure. TV technology was challenging without passwords. Shower slippery. No kleenex.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller boutique style experience. Everything was spotless, the room had some unexpected amenities (towel warmer!) parking was free and the bed was comfortable. it’s also conveniently close to the metro, making it easy to get around, and there are plenty of great bars and restaurants in the neighborhood within walking distance. the hotel is located near a busy railway. Trains do pass by during the night and tend to honk several minutes long, which could be disruptive for light sleepers. Thankfully, the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs.

I had a wonderful experience at Wanderstay Boutique. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the level of security. I appreciated that two separate keypads with different codes were required to enter the property, which made me feel very safe. I also loved that my room had a keypad entry instead of a traditional room key, adding both convenience and peace of mind. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, and the room exceeded my expectations. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and having two bathrooms was an incredible bonus. The towel warmer was a thoughtful luxury that made my stay feel even more special. Despite being in a convenient location with several restaurants within walking distance, the property was very quiet, and I was able to relax without being disturbed by noise. Every staff member I encountered was kind, welcoming, and professional. This was my first time staying at a Black woman-owned establishment, and I was genuinely excited and proud to support women who look like me. Seeing such excellence, attention to detail, and hospitality made the experience even more meaningful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Wanderstay Boutique to others.

Arrived late to check in due to travel, hotel still assisted me and got me into my room. Left very early in the morning due to work obligations, hotel called to see how my stay was and check on me. Was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Fantastic place.

Its quiet, and open but private. The staff are friendly and helpful. Though ear protection is offered for the nearby tram I enjoyed the sounds of the city. The location was perfect for my visit at U of H. The ironworks coffee and other stuff is perfect for browsing local art. The decor over the bed is in an unusual spot which doesn’t allow you to sit up on the bed, and the wall plug was in an inconvenient spot.

I really liked this hotel. Very different from all other places I’ve stayed in Houston. However, we booked the beach room and were given the snow room. Not a huge deal but was slightly disappointed. When leaving the next morning we were told we’d be charged 15$ for late check out. Which we were totally fine with. We do late check out often. Upon leaving she DEMANDED my card while my hands were full with my belongings so she could charge for late checkout. I know my card is on file, if I were to leave at any time with damage to my room they would charge my card whether they had the physical card in hand or not. My husband went out to the car and grabbed a card to bring back in to pay late checkout fee, when I checked my transactions I was charged 20$ instead of 15$. I truly do not care about the extra 5$ but I was very disappointed with the customer service and increase in fee without my knowledge or any explanation. If not for her actions I would give this hotel a 5 star rating.

Nicely appointed room and common areas. Room is somewhat small, but perfectly adequate.

Great location and very friendly staff. Small place and decorated really nice. Seemed very safe and local food and bars within walking distance helped fill my free time. It took me a bit to find the entrance. Just know it's not largely marked so once you see it then you'll get it.

This boutique hotel was so cute! It was within our price range when we booked it. We stayed in the Hollywood room, which was very cute. I loved that they had a ceiling fan along with the AC because sometimes you need a little extra air. There is a kitchen when you walk into the boutique hotel, which you’re allowed to cook if needed. We didn’t need to, but that was nice. I felt like it was in a secure area. We were there for the Astros game and it took us less than five minutes to get to the stadium. I would stay here again.
