Wanderstay Boutique Hotel

Hotel was full and kept running out of coffee

It was a nice small hotel It was smaller then I thought it would be. I was hoping the amenities would have been better for the price. The bed was hard and somewhat lumpy in my opinion

Very good

The cleanliness

Wanderstay was a central location to all I planned to explore. It was easy to find and check in. I felt safe in the area as a solo traveler, especially considering the security measures they take on the property with door codes. The shared kitchen area and lobby were always sparkling clean and so was my room. Beds were comfortable and I had all the basic amenities that I needed. Use the towel warmer! It was cool to learn that this property is Black Woman owned. Job well done. You are close to a train so if you all looking for silence you should consider this bit. I slept through the night just fine and they provide ear plugs and a sound machine.

It was a convenient location to my stay in Houston. You can hear everything. Conversations in the lobby, people talking in other rooms. Restroom vent super dirty.

Beautiful! Very convenient our room has 2 full bedrooms ✨ Nothing to not like. It was great!

Superb

They went out of their way to make sure our stay was amazing and will for sure be back for a longer stay

Exceptional

Felt very safe and it was extremely well maintained.

There was nothing to like This is not a 4* property. No facilities/amenities. Paid upfront; non refundable, unchangeable. Locked in.

Location is excellent. Direct and convenient access to room from lobby. Engaged and supportive staff. Thin walls, inconvenient and haphazard room arrangement, uncomfortable and unfortunately placed bed, flimsy bathroom construction

Very poor

Everything ! Would just have liked some milk for English tea

Friendly staff at checkin, nice kitchen facility, towel warmer, modern furnishings and fun design elements. I felt secure. TV technology was challenging without passwords. Shower slippery. No kleenex.

Arrived late to check in due to travel, hotel still assisted me and got me into my room. Left very early in the morning due to work obligations, hotel called to see how my stay was and check on me. Was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Fantastic place.

I really liked this hotel. Very different from all other places I’ve stayed in Houston. However, we booked the beach room and were given the snow room. Not a huge deal but was slightly disappointed. When leaving the next morning we were told we’d be charged 15$ for late check out. Which we were totally fine with. We do late check out often. Upon leaving she DEMANDED my card while my hands were full with my belongings so she could charge for late checkout. I know my card is on file, if I were to leave at any time with damage to my room they would charge my card whether they had the physical card in hand or not. My husband went out to the car and grabbed a card to bring back in to pay late checkout fee, when I checked my transactions I was charged 20$ instead of 15$. I truly do not care about the extra 5$ but I was very disappointed with the customer service and increase in fee without my knowledge or any explanation. If not for her actions I would give this hotel a 5 star rating.

Nicely appointed room and common areas. Room is somewhat small, but perfectly adequate.
