Sleep Inn & Suites Bush Intercontinental - IAH East

We, a family group of 9, had an overnight layover in Houston. I specifically selected this hotel because side it offered a free shuttle service to the airport. I spoke with them months in advance to be sure that the shuttle could accommodate us all, and to confirm the way we would need to schedule this. I also called hour before our arrival to confirm again. When we checked in, the front desk person confirmed that we would all be on the 7am shuttle to the airport for our flight. I woke to a letter under my door at 6am stating that the shuttle could only take 6 people and that the others would need to wait for the 7:30 shuttle. Six family members got on a shuttle with 4 empty seats that remained empty the entire ride. It was the same shuttle we took the night before from the airport that accommodated all of us, plus 2 more. Three of us ended up in a Lyft. Not the end of the world. Just frustrating to get conflicting information. The rooms were clean, but the carpet was in bad shape. I appreciated the updated bathroom. The breakfast was less than most other airports of this category.

The room was unclean, missing remote, beds sheets had stains, we found roaches in the room. Alarm went off in the middle of the night . the dirty room, finding roaches, and the alarm going off in the middle of the night and all the noise that was happening that night.

Because I was uncomfortable in the bed I woke up before 3:00a.m to find a roach in the bathroom. Again I went down to customer service to advise them. I shook out our things and packed everything away. I sat in a chair with the lights on watching the children to make sure nothing crawls on them. Upon booking at Sleep Inn I booked two nights. One night at the beginning of our vacation and a night at the end of our vacation. Unfortunately I could not stay there on the last booking. I could not trust that the issues would have changed. I have children with medical issues and could not take a chance with their health. I have a time stamped video that I can’t upload. One picture shows a dead roach on the bottom of my shoe. The other picture is of the name of manager who I never was able to speak with. The attached pictures are also time stamped. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Location and access. Check out staff was friendly Room dingy. Charging outlets didn’t work well. Breakfast selection less than inviting. Coffeemaker in room lacking parts. Check in staff was not Welcoming and initial keys didn’t work

Clean and in a good location. Wifi was very poor in our room on the third floor. Kept cutting out. Wish you would supply bread for toast with breakfast.

I never leave reviews but this one is necessary. The hotel has bed bug. ALOT OF BED BUGS. I was not able to complete my stay. Upon leaving I left a note for the manager that i would not be staying due to the beg bugs and would like a full refund. The manager refused to call me back and denied my refund.

The spacious room. Front desk person was approachable and helped me arranging my shuttle service to the airport. The room has a different smell. Maybe, open tje windows to let out the different smell.

Nothing The manager and staff are completely incompetent. I would never and nobody recommend to stay in this place. BOOKING.COM should EXPEL this hotel from its database and terminate any future partnership with this property. More than 10 people complaining at the same time at front desk.

Our room was infested with roaches and other bugs. The condition of the room was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. In the middle of the night, my daughter woke up because a bug had landed on her hand, which frightened her so much that she was afraid to go back to sleep. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful stay. Thankfully, we only had to stay one night. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

The man at checkin did not speak English well. Front desk should speak English!

Our first room smelled of mildew and had cockroaches in the bathroom and tub and then on the carpet when we walk in. The second room they put us in smelled of mildew. First time ever we had a bad experience with a hotel good thing we only had it one night.
