Comfort Suites Huntsville MidCity District at Research Park

Upon arrival, we found stains throughout the flooring, the televisions do not function properly, the room phone is inoperable, and the bathtub was so dirty that I had to purchase Clorox with my own money to disinfect it before anyone in my family could safely use it. No paying guest should ever have to clean a hotel bathroom to feel comfortable using it. These conditions demonstrate a serious failure to provide a clean, safe, and properly maintained room. We paid for a hotel stay—not the responsibility of cleaning, repairing, or overlooking broken amenities. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will dispute the charge with my credit card issuer, file formal complaints with the appropriate consumer protection agencies, and share my experience through public reviews so that other travelers are aware of the conditions we encountered. I expect a written response and confirmation that my refund is being processed without delay.

No mattress pad on bed, stained and old towels, no extra tp or tissues, pillows appeared to be very old (glad I brought my own), no vending machines

No ice. Only ice machine was broken first day. Had to ask for roll of tissue. Water in shower would not turn off. Had to alert staff it was flowing hard each day.

I’ve never left a bad review for a hotel! The breakfast was surprisingly good!

WiFi did not work at all for me to complete work. Which property said room comes with internet. No accommodations were made. No phones in the room. When towels or tissue or room items were needed I had to go to front desk. Staff was not at front desk majority of the time, was told to ring the bell and wait for service. Other staff employees were wondering in and out of rooms located next to my room

I like because the rooms are very clean. I don't like because they don't have enough toilet paper tissue in the rooms and not enough towels and racks. They should have a lease set of 2 towels and 2 rags in a room. Nice people. But I need a person to stay at the front desk at all times. And breakfast, I don't like that. They have sausage all the time. Everybody don't eat sausage. I love bacon.

Nothing special. Last minute reservations but towels looked dirty but used to bring my own towels,soap and blankets...just good enough to lay your head and take a shower if you dont want to sleep in your car or take a shower at a truck stop.

N/A The AC didn’t work properly, there was an unpleasant smell and a big stain on the sofa in the room. The lawn wasn’t even mowed. I did not stay, ended up getting a refund.

Had 4 adults and 2 rooms. One room had no soap or toilet paper and the toilet leaked. Second room AC fan sounded like a jet engine, entry light burned out, hair dryer did not work. Not that it mattered to us but the pool was out of order. Ice machine broke. Breakfast buffet was wiped out by early people going to work and no one was available to replenish it.

The staff was friendly The list is too long, the couch was filthy, the walls had splatter from a previous guest, the showers were unclean we had to change rooms from the filth and the second room wasn’t better. I travel often and was not expecting a 5 star experience but this was definitely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

I loved everything about the hotel. The staff was excellent. The rooms were nice, clean, and big. The location is perfect right in Midtown. Everything thing was excellent, but if I just had to knit pick. The pool was closed which was not a big deal at all.

The hotel was closed a place where homeless campout. They stole my things that include beach tent, beach mat, beach umbrella, beach chairs and big beach wagon. I left them in a rack behind my vehicle but secured with a net. My car was parked right in front of the hotel. One of the rooms that were not even clean so we have to request another one. Then upon checked out, they charge me for that 2nd room. I haven't received my refund yet.

The kitchen staff was amazing. But front desk came off as rude when she said they couldn't accommodate us because they had no way of getting in touch with me. My room was double booked for the entire stay. I was there for my father's medical procure which was booked back in Feb, then when we arrived they told us they didnt have room for us. They found a room and put us in a bad room that was probably down but still used it. The toliet was not attached to the floor, the white towels were stained with black marks like tar. The walls weren't clean one wall had what it looked like blood. The ac unit had a short in the plug wire so we had to move it around some to get it to turn on to get cool air in the room. The ac also had a small leak inside the room and there was also mold growing there where the carpet was all wet. The remote to the TV did not work at all. I booked that hotel because they had a pool but when we went down to swim, it was being used as a storage facility. That place needs a deep inspection. The staff was not in uniform, you never knew if the people standing around were employees or people waiting to be waited on. No name tags or no greeting at the door. I do not recommend this place. Choice needs to send eyes to that place quickly.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The entire hotel needs renovations. The room was subpar and did not match the pictures on the the website.

Nothing but the area. Smell, spots on the couch, carpet nasty. Facility itself wasn't a good stay at all. What makes it even worse I tried canceling it and they wouldn't let me. I see why now, because they probably don't get enough business.

I would not eat at this hotel

Idk reservation was canceled before I got there The front desk clerk is very rude. She said that she notified Booking.com the morning of the 10th letting them know that the reservation was being canceled so when we arrived at 11 P at 11 AM our rooms had been canceled and nobody contacted us to let us know.

The staff was nice and kind and the breakfast was great. The rooms are out dated they didn’t have comforters or blankets,the can’t give you a fresh set of towels until they collect your old ones wash them them bring them back to the room.The owners need to spend some money on updating this,I wish a refund was
