The bed was fairly comfortable, although the plastic mattress protector made it feel like sleeping on a waterproof pad. The biggest drawback was the overall condition of the property. You can hear nearly everything through the walls, and the large gap around the room door lets in hallway light and noise. Our room also had a noticeable urine odor that never really went away. Cleanliness and maintenance could definitely use more attention. At breakfast, my husband picked up a yogurt and dirt fell off the container. There was also a large crack in the breakfast bar window that gave the area a neglected appearance. The pool was another disappointment. There were bugs floating in the water, and the bottom had a layer of slimy residue that made it seem like it hadn’t been cleaned recently. Overall, this hotel wasn’t awful, but it felt like a property that’s simply pasting on without investing in replacement or improvements. With better maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to detail, it could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

Its not a 3 star property. We arrived late, arrived after 11pm and there was a McDonald's wrapper left in the room. Likely from the maid, since the beds were made already... We were just too tired to change rooms. The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast, which was pretty good and the close proximity to Cedar Point. Otherwise not worth the money we spent.

There were several bird nests up above the entrance and big piles of bird poop right in front of the main doors. The breakfast was cold and not a big selection, the coffee tasted terrible. The hallways felt small and kinda dark. The bathroom in the room was extremely small and the shower was okay.

Pool was falling apart and had dead flies in it. The room was not clean in bathroom. One of the staff sat in re Pool was falling apart and had a couple of dead flies in it. The room was not clean in bathroom. One of the staff sat in the reception area cross-legged, with no shoes on studying his phone. The entrance was as dirty and as uninviting as everything else. Breakfast was poor.

Dirty, musty, tub is disgusting and I felt gross even showering my child in it. The pool is not usable, it was so cloudy you couldn’t see to the bottom at 3ft deep, and there’s gross foam on the top.
-
Close to cedar point. Price for the room is very reasonable front desk was welcoming and helpful
-
Breakfast bar not stocked on Monday morning.

We had to get our own towels, but I think that is the way it is done since COVID. They ran out of ice would be my only complaint.
-
The location was good and the staff was friendly The bathroom needs serious updating. It wasn’t super clean. There was some hair. The tub was peeling.

The pics are deceiving online. The room was gross. The tub was worn and chipped. There was caked up dust on the bathroom vent and it had a dirty washcloth stuffed inside like a filter. The tv chords were hanging and taped together. No lightbulbs in two rusted lamps. The floor was not vacuumed well. Worst of all, the sheets on one of the beds were visibly dirty. I slept in my travel clothes and could not shower because it was so nasty. We only needed to get through the one night. But NEVER AGAIN.

The pool was run down. The ventilation was lacking overall, you could smell and feel the pool from the front desk. Ice machine was down, we were offered two small bags of bricks of ice. Overall, the cost was lower than other places and the reviews were more promising than what we experienced

Had to request new room because first was dirty…dried something on sheets, crumbs in chair, fridge and microwave not cleaned. Requested an extra blanket and first one was dirty. Water in tub drained so slow you were standing in ankle deep water to shower. Never got a receipt. Said the printer was broke and would email one, but never did.

Just so so.

Biggest complaint was the shower drain was clogged. It drained but took 20 minutes. We had 3 people who desperately wanted to shower after spending 12 hours in the heat at Cedar Point. We were all gross and sweaty and looking forward to the shower more than anything. We had to wait for it to drain so we weren’t standing in each other’s dirty water. If the shower drain thing didn’t happen, I would’ve had a much better experience. Outdated room. Old tv with ancient channels full of commercials. No smart tv. Breakfast was okay. Only 1 waffle maker so there’s a 15 minute wait in the morning. For the price, it’s a good stay just to sleep and leave. I think the shower drain was just bad luck for us. I would give the place another shot if I’m in the area again.

In general, the public places were dirty (carpets, furniture, railings),worn and mismatched. The air conditioning in public places was not very effective. The pool was covered in foam. The ice machine was broken and the lobby bathroom out of order (long enough that the sign was wrinkled and paint was damaged) Now, on to the good news. Our room was clean and in good order. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked. It worked for our one night stay. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but my grandson enjoyed the make your own waffles.

Close to things Super small parking lot

When booking said needed ground level room because of surgery and can't do stairs. They still gave me second floor and they have no elevators.
-
Extremely dirty, bird poop all over by entrance, bird nest everywhere, hair all over beds, very disgusted.
-
Location to the park. No room service. First room had stained bed sheets. Paper thin walls. No front desk staff. Price was wayyy too much for the quality of the room. Ripoff. Outside was filthy.

Very clean the staff was very helpful.
