Our first room had a very strong mold mildew odor. Requested a different room. It too had the mold mildew odor but was not as strong as the first. We stayed in it for one night. When the AC was off the moldy mildew odor was much more prevalent. We requested a 3rd room which was better though still with a lighter mildew smell. We have stayed in the hotel many times. There is simply no way that the staff or front desk management did not know that the mildew and mildew smell was prevalent in these rooms. Dissapointing to say the least.

Great rest while on the MS 150 bike ride

We stayed in a double queen room. Although the hotel was quite booked, the atmosphere was quiet. We enjoyed a very tasty dinner at the Millers Table and a lovely buffet style breakfast at Harvest the next morning. We had our three children with us and the indoor and outdoor pools were hits. Having the pools and restaurants on site made for a stress free stay.

A great stay for the family

Our family had an amazing time at Sawmill Creek! It is clean, updated, and very well maintained. The outdoor pool area is so beautiful and I wish we had more time to spend there. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious. It wasn’t cheap, but it was worth it. There is also so much to do in the area. If we could have stayed longer we would have. We will absolutely stay again when we return to the area!

The room was musty. Sheets were damp. High humidity in the room. Mold in the shower. Bed was awful!

The rustic setting

Very nice hotel. Very nice staff. Pretty setting The hotel is sprawling. Room was very far from lobby. Would have preferred an EV charger.

Such a beautiful place and surprisingly good food in the restaurant. I really enjoyed staying there and hope to go back soon for a round of golf.

The restaurant staff ( the older lady bartender was a bit brash and short with us there wasnt a person at the host station she seemed irritated that we were asking to be seated we had just got in off the road ....But our waitress Jessica was awesome ...

Great friendly staff! :) directed my perfectly and let me know that they were there for me if I needed anything. I called the Cedar Point hotline on my way and they told me my friend, the second guest, could check in, but when I got there, they had told him he couldn't. Not sure why I was told otherwise.

Very good

Second year in a row my room was not read at check in time. However it was ready about 30 minutes after I checked in

Checked in by Jon who seemed smug and unhelpful. Large property was the first time staying. He pulled a map out and scribbled confusing directions to a building in the rear. Put us on the second floor and very confusing where the elevators were. No complementary coffee in the morning or in the room. Felt very unappreciated.
