Sawmill Creek by Cedar Point Resorts

Hubby & I stsyed here early this week just wanted to get away, our first time here an we loved it.. everything was perfect and tbe food was delicious.. The staff was super friendly and helpful so pleasant.

Great outdoor pool

Frills on the surface, underwhelming underneath. Poorly laid out property unless you enjoy walking 1/8 of a mile everywhere you go. Parking needs to double. Every day was a fight for a spot, people end up making their own at the end of rows. Forget it if you have a trailer or anything large

I gave the hotel 4 out of 5 stars only because of the on-site restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing, especially considering the prices. The portions were small, the quality was average at best, and the overall experience was far below the standard of the hotel itself. I would not recommend the restaurant. Aside from that, the hotel itself was very nice, comfortable, and well maintained. We had a good stay overall.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating and went beyond the norm to make us feel comfortable. We knew based on previous reviews that this resort can be filled up with kids during tournaments, however we would always choose to go back here as the resort and staff make it all worthwhile. On site amenities are great, we just had to pick opportune times to use the pool when things were quiet. The property has a calming resort feel, the room was clean and modern with newer mini appliances.

I loved our 4 day at Sawmill. The staff was very helpful and accommodating and the rooms were clean as well as the hotel. I will definitely be back!

Great location. Building spacious with a lot of indoor and outdoor space.

The staff was amazing, very informative, accomadating with my requests, answering questions. The floor& door by the bathroom was sticky. There should be instructions on using the A/C, it was either freezing or stuffy, too many selections to set the temperature, plus it was noisy sounded like it was ready to break down.There are no coffee makers in the room or in the lobby. Explanations were, free coffee was stopped after Covid. Guess they decided, why bring it back when they can make money, forget about customer satisfaction. Never stayed where there is no free coffee. Overall, it was disappointing, expected a nicer facility after reviewing the website, probably won't be back. Hope they're paying the staff well because the service was a positive.

Great property with golf course

Absolutely love this place. Family friendly and the staff is amazing, we will be back next year!

Room was clean . The pool area was well maintained and the pool attendant was very friendly, helpful and informative to thing around the resort area. Will definitely stay again

We love this hotel

I had a nice, 1 night stay. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I was exhausted by the time I returned for the night. I didn't make use of the amenities. I didn't ask about breakfast when I checked in. I did notice a nice breakfast buffet in the morning while I was checking out, but I was short on time and didn't know whether it was actually included with the stay. The rate was fairly high in my opinion, and that was the only minor deduction.

Staff and hotel were great!

Nice property. Pool was clean and well maintained. Restaraunts on site were good and staff were wonderful.

We have stayed here several times. It’s a wonderful property. The rooms are comfortable and the resort is beautifully maintained.

My first time at this hotel. It is a very well maintained and clean hotel. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we aren’t able to golf due to rain, but hopefully we’ll come back and be able to golf.

The hotel and the grounds were very well groomed. Why there was NO avilable food service on the property for lunch is beyond me. Rules! you need them at a swimming pole that is over full. You don't allow teenagers to throw footballs and hit people in the face. Secondly why are people allowed to hold 4 chase chairs for the day besides the two they are using. They need to take a look at these issues
